Following on from the fine win at Basingstoke on Tuesday we have another away game this weekend at Hemel Hempstead. This will be our fifth visit there in the last couple of years (twice FA Cup, once FA Trophy and once in the league last season),
I gather Hemel have had some problems with their pitch over the last couple of months so hopefully there won't be any more rain up there to make the pitch unplayable as we don't really need another rearrangement.
Feel free to add your views and comments about the game.

Hemel's pitch is up there with Havants as one of the poorest in the latter months of the season. With rain being forecast all afternoon tomorrow into the small hours and some more on Saturday late morning, I'd "Watch this space"
Until a couple of weeks ago Hemel were in good position to get a play off place in an odd way - having a fantastic away record (unbeaten) but having the worst home form in the league. After losing away at Basingstoke however their form away from home has failed them whilst their home form still is the worst in the league - only 1 win in the last 7 at home (to Havant). Their last 3 games they've leaked 10 goals (including the odd 5-5 draw with Wealdstone).

The weather outlook is pretty awful. More or less constant rain for 48 hours it would seem! I wouldn't be surprised if this was to be called off.. Hopeful I will be able to make the trip however!

As far as I'm concerned we've already seen far too much of Hemel this season and didn't particularly enjoy how much we saw of them last season either! That being said, don't really want the game to be called off because we would like a slightly clearer schedule. Only potential advantage is that the impact made by injuries is lessened if we have fewer games at the moment.

As I think I mentioned on Tuesday, this will be our 9th time playing them in 3 seasons, the first of which we weren't even in the same division!

I should really know the rules regarding suspension etc now but is Wishart banned for tomorrow's game?

I should really know the rules regarding suspension etc now but is Wishart banned for tomorrow's game? In our league, bans start 14 days after the offence - which means Wish will miss St Albans, but as it's his 2nd red of the season, he'll miss an additional game against Stortford.

We have Dan Spence ready to return so we do have a natural replacement. One could argue for a left back role that Wish has been a replacement for Spence - the latter is stronger than the former at doing that role but Wish is a lot better in pushing forward, sometimes as an out and out winger!

There's 3 fixtures that directly concern us tomorrow aside from our own, and only 1 of the current top 5 play at home
Concord (6) V Gosport (7) Stortford (10) v Maidstone (3) Truro (4) v Ebbsfleet (5)
The numbers are their current position in the form table over the last 6 games. (in case of interest we're playing the team 17th in the form guide)
It's the last one of those games that is the most interesting - Truro have shot up out of nowhere, scoring for fun it seems against the league leaders who have been grinding out results. These two met just over a month ago, and they cancelled each other out.
