I know but then it's 2 or maybe 3 more games we have to win. I'm not saying we can't do it but after all that effort it can be quite difficult to sustain things.

Yes, but your post was implying that meant we didn't need to be concerned about the pitch issue. Even if it were certain we were staying down it would make little sense to stop discussing an important issue that is likely to affect us and other clubs in the future.

If the Club is serious about advancing and gaining promotion whether that be this year or not then we should have a plan to render the facilities fit for and compliant with FL regulations. From what I have read I am far from certain that the rules around artificial pitches will change for the 2019/20 season so I don’t think the answer is just to hope we don’t get promoted this year and it will all be ok for the following season when we finish top.
Perhaps more importantly I completely believe that the Club have all this in hand and, as they have constantly demonstrated, a plan for all eventualities.
