Absolute joke. This can't be allowed to happen. People spend alot of time and money and all for nothing. The team plans are buggered. Everyone is messed about. Shouldn't happen

The rain this morning has been a lot worse than all the forecasts predicted, especially the one I listened to on radio 4 at 5AM this morning.

So let’s have a bit of perspective here, are you seriously saying rain shouldn’t be allowed to happen.

I think what he was trying to say was that it wouldn't have been called off if you had a 3 G pitch.

A 3G pitch would have solved both last week and this weeks problem.
As with so many in this world today you are not thinking of others - people have had to get up as early as 4.30AM in order to get to 'YOUR WONDERFUL GROUND' only to be told of the cancellation when approx. 1 hour away

Sorry mate, can't agree. This is not on. Clearly it's not just Barrow, but this can't continue. A wasted trip costs the fans hundreds, and the club has to write off the costs they've already paid out. If there's literally any doubt it shouldn't be left so late.

Are you serious ? Twas ever thus and has been happening since football began.You undertake a 600 mile plus round trip to Barrow on a cold,rainy winter day and are surprised when the game is called off !

You've really shown your lack on knowledge there I'm afraid. Luton, QPR, Oldham. Those pitches were trampolines compared to new 3g pitches. Scot prem allows it, world cup qualifiers are played on them, champs league. It's only a matter of time before they make their way into league football. You can't justify calling a game a few hours before when the distance is so far.

Every day except today, or whenever else it rains a lot.   Luton was a 2G pitch, times and technology have moved on.
