Unreal. How many points have we won in the last couple of minutes?! Up to 2nd. Brilliant. Our team just keeps going.

A couple of last minute goals this evening, none more welcome than ours of course. Another brilliant return from the West Country.
Well done to everyone!

Justice was done in the end as JC's stoppage time penalty nullified the two dubious goals that Torquay scored, the first of which had infuriated the Sutton contingent.
Not only did we repeat last season's scoreline in this fixture, we added to the tally of last-gasp winners this season. (Others were at Chester and Dagenham.)
In truth this wasn't a vintage Sutton performance, and Torquay probably feel that they did enough to deserve something from the game. Byron Harrison had given us the lead with his first Sutton goal, then they equalised from a corner that should never been given and with two players looking offside, one of whom appeared to impede Jamie Butler. There was also a suspicion that the corner preceding their second goal had been incorrectly awarded. Simon Walton got us level just before the interval and that provided the platform for the win.
We finished the match with three strikers on the pitch, but it was Louis John's deft run into the box that drew the decisive foul. It wasn't the most obvious penalty in the world, but the ref did get that decision right.
With Aldershot, Tranmere and Wrexham all dropping points this evening, we're back up to 2nd. What a season!

Well worth the journey. The linesman had an absolute mare first half giving corners that weren’t. The boys put in a massive shift and we’re rewarded with the pen at the end.
On to Guiseley at home and hopefully another 3 points

Popped into the dressing room after the match and the joy on the players and management faces was something that will stick with me for a very long time. What a team and what a football club Paul D, I Baird and the rest of the staff have built. A mighty club approaching its 120th birthday.

Got in at 3.45am, now up to collect my 3 year old grandson. It is going to be a long day today but worth every minute after that late, late goal.

Still buzzing from one off the best nights I’ve had following Sutton (in the end)- be interesting to see some of the moments on highlights 🙄 the team never gave up- JC was so cool to send us home happy and it meant so much to everyone both sides of pitch -loved the Kenny Davis clap 🙌 after the whistle - I stood there at the end thinking what if .....

Last night we passed last season's total of 58 points. We're now only 5 points behind Macclesfield, and on paper have a slighty easier run in (we play more sides nearer the bottom). This is doable. This is possible. We're also 8 points into a play off spot.
12 games to go. 36 points for the taking. We can do this.

Anybody else looking at the next six fixtures and trying desperately not to get rather excited?
