Travelling down to Devon for this one. Torquay were showing signs of improvement before going down at home to troubled Dagenham this weekend so its difficult to know what to expect. Having lost at home we need to take 3 points from this one. Macclesfield are at Tranmere on Tuesday so one to keep an eye out for the result.

The impression I have of Torquay is that if they take the lead (as they did at our place in November) then they're capable of showing some steel, but if they go behind then they tend to wilt. So the first goal on Tuesday could be important!

Hoping to hop on the supporters coach on Tuesday. Looking forward to the game. Torquay are fighting for their lives for a third straight season in the NL and fingers crossed we can leave Plainmoor with 3 points. Looking at our remaining fixtures we are playing teams below us in the table except for Aldershot on the final day - how about a run of wins which will take us to the title!

I don't see this being an easy one on Tuesday night - hope I'm wrong as we really need maximum points just as much as Torquay do! Interesting to hear Ross Stearn has been recalled from Bath and likely to be included in Tuesdays squad - Dos did mention a couple of the lads picked up knocks in yesterdays game.

Maybe we can recall Ross Stearn for any game West of Newbury

Welcome Sol, we even do match commentary, sometimes we even get a professional in, although he does seem to have a unhealthy addiction to custard cream biscuits Of course Torquay at home was where it all began..

So annoyed I can’t make this one due to college the next day and due to travel funds! Will be at Spelthorne Sports vs Knaphill instead. Fair play to every sutton fan that goes and good luck to the team!

The one game of the season where being an exile living in Devon is something of a bonus. 30 minutes drive for me but safe journey to everyone else.

Dreading this game and Guiseley as we always have terrible times against relegation and bottom end teams

Dreading this game and Guiseley as we always have terrible times against relegation and bottom end teams Not with these two, in the 5 games that we’ve played against these teams combined, we’ve only lost twice and won the other three so I’m fairly confident!

Dreading this game and Guiseley as we always have terrible times against relegation and bottom end teams Yep know what you mean - you only have to look at last seasons record against the four relegated sides where we lost to Braintree twice, Ferriby once and drew home and away against Southport and York. Memories a little further back of us losing to struggling Truro and Farnborough at home in the Conf South. We'll have to be bang on our game tomorrow evening.

Dreading this game and Guiseley as we always have terrible times against relegation and bottom end teams Agree about the Torquay game. Another long journey and I thought we looked knackered 1st half on Saturday. Been a few long trips and heavy pitches recently and it may catch up soon. Although whatever Dos gave them at half time worked a treat. I base my predictions on nonsense so can't believe we'll lose and Torquay will do the double on us. On the other hand, Guisley are in such abysmal form I can see them playing out a 0-0.

I don't think anyone needs a nudge on what happened a year ago today. Funny how our next game after this was a trip to Torquay, which was memorable being our 2nd away win of the season (and I think it ended up being our last!) in blustery conditions and being the last time we saw Ross Worner (for the moment) in goal for us and Simon Downer playing the hero!
