Hi All As some of you have seen I decided to try my hand at doing a podcast. There are a number of ways to follow but it is suttonpodcast on Twitter, Instagram, SoundCloud and Facebook (I am not quite ready on FB yet) I have a site which is www.suttonpodcast.co.uk and I will post on this thread when there is a new episode. I hope people enjoy it and find something interesting. If you want to feature please drop me an email suttonpodcast@gmail.com (or on any of the Socials) and if you or anyone you know are promoting a song they would like to feature let me know. I will try to include artists with some sort of a connection and whilst not every track will be to your individual taste, be open minded and support them if you do like it. I am very new to this whole thing so welcome any feedback.

I've listened to some of all three podcasts. Here are my comments.
1. First of all, well done on getting the podcasts together. They're a new way of reaching out to SUFC fans, and you've obviously put a lot of work into them. They require a certain degree of technical skill, which you've clearly mastered.
2. I'm not sure that mixing interviews about Sutton Utd with new/local music really works. I'm sure that some listeners are interested in both, but I'd guess that if you were to produce a Venn diagram of interest then the overlap would be quite small. If your primary target is SUFC fans then restrict the musical content or separate it off altogether.
3. Having two interviews, one with a Sutton fan and another with a current or former player, is a great format. But I do think that the interviews could do with editing or condensing into no more than ten minutes each. Keep them short and snappy! I'm retired, so in theory have plenty of time to listen to podcasts, but I baulked at devoting a whole hour to listening to one. Other fans, who are more time-poor than me, will have even less patience.

Well, time isn't that much of an issue for most people. You could listen while commuting, at the gym, cooking, eating or any of a huge number of other everyday activities! Some people even listen to podcasts while working at the office...this is naughty though and I do not condone it

I listen to them on a Friday when doing my coursework in college! They’re really good but even I would admit the music doesn’t work with the podcast in my opinion but everything else is tip top in my opinion!

The beauty of podcasts. You can just listen to the bits you want. I think the music breaks up the talking nicely. And of course you can just skip the music. Except for mine of course;)

My preference is for no music for what it's worth.

I like the podcast. A very simple format and easy to listen to.
I think it would be a good to get some questions from the forum, listeners for the players/staff you have on just to add a bit more engagement etc.

Hi, loving the podcasts and have subscribed to itunes. I like the music though most of it isn't to my taste. How great arew Black Water County though! I would never have heard them otherwise so thanks for that as well!!

Thank you ziggyb, in truth most of the music I feature is not even to my own taste but it is good to try new things (and my Spotify playlist was getting dull with same old stuff).
I loved Black Water Country too - worked out it reminded me of some Pouges stuff but with a female voice.
