No need for that Ryan. At least it's local to us and maybe of interest to some. No need for what, saying we don’t care about our rivals who are no longer competing against us anymore... I think I’ll worry about Sutton getting promoted rather than our most local and historic rivals and I’m sure 99.9% of our fan base think the same

I’m no fan of Carshalton and they are no threat to us, but it’s no bad thing to see them promoted and congratulate them. Please don’t worry about us getting promoted, just be pleased we’ve had such a fantastic season again. Be the bigger person, say we’ll done, then move on.

Well normally I would happily congratulate a team on promotion out of my own will but I will never congratulate rivals unfortunately, but fine seeing as it’ll stop an argument, well done CAFC on your promotion! I am pleased we have had a great season, not one piece of criticism for anyone at the club, what we have done is absolutely amazing! Like I said, I would rather concerntrate on Sutton rather than our rivals.

Back to the topic and Bognor Regis are now relegated from the National League South down to Step 7 and Guiseley had their relegation confirmed last night as they lost against Barrow. Woking also drop into the relegation zone.

I think I’ll worry about Sutton getting promoted rather than our most local and historic rivals and I’m sure 99.9% of our fan base think the same The word rival literally means one who is competing for the same goal. Either they are no longer competing against us OR they are our rivals - you can't have it both ways! It is possible to care about more than one thing at a time. Obviously SUFC always will be my top football priority. That doesn't mean I can't take a moment to congratulate someone else on their achievement! Likewise, you can't say you ONLY care about Sutton with all the groundhopping you do. Which is also fine. I do understand what you're getting at, and it's totally up to you whether you care about other local clubs, but you can't speak for the entire fan base! If it doesn't interest you ignore it and move on, but you obviously cared enough to reply saying you didn't care

Well I did say historic rivals meaning they were our rivals competing for the same goal as us but are no longer and are now just local rivals as we say.... I do get where you’re coming from as well. Let’s just leave it at that then.

Whilst I personally quite like Carshalton if Ryan feels that way about them, as many football supporters do about certain other clubs, there is no reason why he should be patronized for what is a typical football supporter sentiment. The tribalism adds something to the game imho

I'm not patronising anyone. I was just baffled at the "nobody cares, let's just worry about Sutton" sentiment on a thread whose entire purpose is to look at how other clubs are doing. I completely understand not being interested but I don't understand why one would comment to say so.

Didn’t say that at all, yes I said nobody cares which may have been wrong but I didn’t say let’s just worry about Sutton, I said “I’ll think I’ll just worry about Sutton” referring to me. Like I said please just end this now and get back to topic!

On a personal level I'm a bit sad to see Guiseley go as they have really friendly fans and the general match day experience there is, in my opinion, very pleasant. Wouldn't be too sorry to lose Woking though!

Yes, well done the Bobbins. Playing good football ever since Adiniyi took over as manager and thoroughly deserved. It will be interesting to see how they do next year, given that T&M were the better team last season but are struggling to stay up.
It will also be interesting next season to see if Billericay can spend their way out of the National South - need very deep pockets I suspect!

Although I suspect last night's 1-0 away win against Dorking Wanderers is just enough to see them through, it's still not guaranteed that Billericay will be promoted. Dulwich Hamlet have 4 games remaining to overcoming Billericay's 4 point lead, and given Billericay's Sutton-esque slump in form in recent weeks, they can still be overtaken...
