Not non-league I know but a club that have come a long way over the years - less than two decades ago Accrington were competing in the Unibond League Division One. Absolutely fairytale stuff this is - good luck to them.

Yes, well done the Bobbins. Playing good football ever since Adiniyi took over as manager and thoroughly deserved. It will be interesting to see how they do next year, given that T&M were the better team last season but are struggling to stay up. It will also be interesting next se0ason to see if Billericay can spend their way out of the National South - need very deep pockets I suspect! Not to flog this any more but I have great memories of derby days in the 80s and 90s - Xmas / NY double headers were great fun and I'd love to have those back...but not through us dropping down go Carshalton's level of course. One thing - and apologies if this is a daft question. Is there a restructuring across Level 7/8? It's just that all the references I've seen have one team getting relegated from each of the Isthmian/Southern/Northern premier but six teams going up from the feeder leagues (2+2 automatics plus 1+1 playoff).

Yes I believe they are restructuring the leagues in the summer to reduce the amount of travelling for teams.

A new league at Step 3 will be created at the end of this current season called the Central Football League Premier division (same tiering as Isthmian Premier, Southern Premier and Northern Premier Leagues) all consisting of 22 teams. At Step 4, a Central Football League Division One will be created with 20 teams - likewise with Isthmian North/South, Southern Football League East/West etc.
On projections the Isthmian Prem looks very weak for next season.

I suspect Billericay's emphatic 5-0 win last night will be enough to clinch the Bostik Premier title. With 4 point lead over Dulwich with just three games left to play and a superior goal difference of +11, that should see them through. Here's hoping they get found out in the National League South...

Ta. Vaguely recalled reading something about this but couldn't find the details online through a mix of crap googling and laziness.

Congratulations to AFC Hornchurch for clinching promotion to the Bostik Premier, a feat made all the more impressive by the fact their manager, Jimmy McFarlane, sustained a stroke in February. I'm originally from Upminster where their ground is based, so I always like to see them do well.

Just a feeling you may be in a minority there, Trev!

Although I suspect last night's 1-0 away win against Dorking Wanderers is just enough to see them through, it's still not guaranteed that Billericay will be promoted. Dulwich Hamlet have 4 games remaining to overcoming Billericay's 4 point lead, and given Billericay's Sutton-esque slump in form in recent weeks, they can still be overtaken... I think they will need to spend a bit of cash to stay up, which I believe TMU failed to do

TMU can still stay up provided Burgess Hill lose their last game and TMU get at least a draw from theirs.

Salford City have won the NLN, so an away day in Manchester next season if we stay down

Amazing fact this..
Gainsborough joining Tamworth (a National League/Conf team only a few years back) and North Ferriby in being relegated from the National North..

That must have been a dull 145 years for them. I'd almost be pleased with the relegation just for a change! Almost.
