Halifax is close enough to Flyde to almost make it not worth coming home in between! might just stay in Blackpool for 3 nights!

Your quote made me notice my phone had changed Fylde to Flyde... I hate it when people say "Flyde." See also "Molesley," "Chestnut" (Cheshunt) and "Merstram"

And whilst we're at it, what's with Louis John being pronounced as Lewis John...

And whilst we're at it, what's with Louis John being pronounced as Lewis John... I especially hate that and still gets a rattle in my stomach when Dos says Bolanara when Tombo has even confirmed it’s pronounced how it’s spelt but makes me laugh anyway so not that bad...

Wind those necks in.... if anyone asked in the correct manner they would be aware that the "Lewis" pronunciation is how Louis has always been known by his family and how he addresses himself.

I've got more! Unfortunate when it's a name that trips someone up in getting a bit tongue-tied but also unfortunate if you performed a role giving presentations to large groups and frequently having to reference the "ONS"..... especially when use of TLA's is frowned upon (Three Letter Abbreviations - see what I did there) - no matter how hard I tried I would invariably refer to the "Office of National Spatistics". That's enough from me, I need to pop in to Kingston and collect something (a pair of Lois Jeans) from John Louis.

At least I know moving forwards the correct way to refer to our esteemed England C international defender. Thanks for enlightening me.
