Thank you for asking this question because for some reason I had a 4pm kick off in my head!

Is Wikipedia correct that this was a record league attendance?

I think it was.Who could have guessed a few years ago that Gander Green Lane would be around two thirds full for a league game !

First 2 on the team sheet for me are Eastmond and Thomas (T), didn't need either of them as it turned out. Happy to hear from tt himself that he should be fit for next weekend. Assume easty rested due to yellow card situation? He told me that did have a slight injury.

On the part about the smoke bomb, it wasn’t any of us, we don’t recall who did it but it wasn’t any of us regulars that normally go. That person is indeed a moron but to be fair it was a big moment and did heavily improve the mood and atmosphere for us lot behind the goal so some credit to the moron So much for the security bag checks.

There is footage of the "bomb" on the Sutton United Fan Forum on Facebook. The bloke seems to have caught the end of it judging by his comment.
Got my phone out a bit late.... try again Sunday! COYS

It's funny how people view the game. I noted that Aldershot had just one shot in the first half and that was cleared off the line by JC. We were by far the better side in the first half. It was only when Aldershot got a dodgy pen that they sprang into life putting in dangerous crosses and generally putting us under pressure. They were rather wasteful with their shots. Strangely I think the first corner of the match came in something like the 70th minute! Well done to Dos and the team on an amazing, remarkable season. 2 more wins please Was thoroughly happy with the performance (and, of course, the result). Thought Josh Taylor was great.

The refereeing though left a lot to be desired.

Am I the only one who found it slightly amusing that after some of their fans criticised our attendance on Saturday and called us tinpot that they only got 3,319 at the Rec last night.

Yes indeed not many - but will we beat that figure on Sunday? I presume the away following from Fleet is far greater than the likes of BW or Fylde

I saw on twitter Fleet took 483 to Aldershot last night.
