So we now know Boreham Wood will be our opponents on Sunday afternoon after they overcame the challenge of AFC Fylde this evening.
I foresee a tight, cagey, low-scoring game which I'm hoping we can do just enough to nick and progress to the showpiece final.
Hopefully Craig Eastmond and Terrell Thomas are declared fit for this one after being ruled out of last Saturday's game. I'm sure all of our boys will be absolutely raring to go!!
A monumental match in our history this one - win and we're at Wembley! C'mon you U's!!!

They will be raring no doubt, the chance to play at Wembley got to be such an incentive, and then possibly Football League. It's what they play for, and Dos will have them right up for it. Can't wait for it.

Can't wait for it. That's the same incentive as our opponents sadly. I've seen BW 3 times this season and not been impressed with them one bit. Luckily for us Ferrier one of their better players pulled a hammy in the warm up so is missing. Another guy went off on a stretcher too. Their squad will be more stretched than ours and to be honest tonight wasn't the best advert for football in this league. BW are through because Fylde and especially their talisman Mr Rowe didn't really turn up tonight. Honestly the only thing stopping us from our date with Wembley is us. We play like we did against Maidenhead, Maidstone or Bromley and we're out. Play like we did in either game against Aldershot or away at Dover or dare I say BW away and our 37 year wait to get to the hallowed turf is over.

Well they’re obviously a decent side. You wouldn’t expect anything less at this stage. Keeping cool heads and making decent decisions will give us the best chance of progression. Most of all enjoy the occasion and don’t get too concerned with what’s at stake (if possible). To reiterate nothing at all to lose for us. Other nice plus, no significant away support to speak of.

[b But so are Sutton a decent side. I watched them play superbly for 45 minutes this season at home to Maidstone and then completely collapse 2nd half. I also saw them go out for a jog a few weeks ago in the snow losing limply to the same team. Then, a couple of weeks ago I saw the same side walk all over Ebbfleet in only a 1-0 win. This team have gone over all expectations to the effect we are worried about who Sutton will play. Who cares? Bring them on.

I like to think we might be picking from a fully, or near fully fit squad (assume Cadogan might miss out), quite different to last time we made it to a play off situation *shudders*
We'll be fresher thats for sure, and its up to us to save the Football League from Arsenal Ladies' men's team and their inevitable clean sweep of low attendance records.
Butler John Thomas Collins Thomas Bailey Bola Eastmond Taylor Beautyman Wright Is my prediction, although either of Kenny D, Harry B would be really unlucky to miss out after saturday's performances. HB was absolute class and gave a slide tackling master class so I expect him to get the nod.

Tough game. Big boys at back in back three, overload centre area and have pace up top. Garrard a solid tactician at this level.
For us there's a danger we could start off to conservative like we did in games at home to Dover, Tranmere, Wrexham and allow Boreham Wood to settle in or we come out flying and possibly be over zealous.
Balance mentally and tactically is needed. I think we have to impose our will early, set a high tempo whilst keeping our discipline and play our game ultimately. We are here for a reason, cracking squad with great talent. Time to seize this chance.
Wasn't at Aldershot game but heard atmosphere was cracking. More of the same Sunday!. Preparing myself for a very tense day.

I hope we note how they played last night-flying out the traps and then put in a tremendous defensive performance. They will be no push-over,that's for sure

Even with the new play off system, we're playing exactly who we would have played under the old system (3 v 4) of course only 1 leg rather than 2.
We've got 2 records that we have the chance to break - the first one on Sunday being winning a play off game, which at 6 attempts we never have, and if we put that curse to bed, we have a chance to win for the first time at Wembley in our 4th attempt.
Records are there to be broken.

won't be an easy game...but if you had said back in August that we were a home match v Boreham Wood away from Wembley then I am sure most of us on here would have taken that!
got my ticket, looking forward to the game now. hopefully it doesnt go to extra time - the heat is going to be tiring enough over 90 minutes!

Buzzing for Sunday - just another 51 hours until kick off - I can't wait... Picked up my tickets from the ground yesterday and watched a bit of the training session. Shame about Terrell and Easty's injuries, but we have loads of talent in the squad to step in, and get us to Wembley. Come on Sutton!!!
