Fresh from Tuesday nights penalty heartache in the FA Cup we will need to pick ourselves up as there is a quick turnaround to league action this weekend as we welcome a struggling Maidenhead.
Often considered a bogey team for Sutton they completed the double over us last season frustratingly but currently sit in the drop zone having lost 7 of their last 8 National League games.
Our players will be understandably fatigued after 120 minutes of football on Tuesday night coupled with the travels to Gateshead last weekend so the pack might need to be shuffled for this one - Dundas will most likely get some game-time and hopefully Bailey has recovered from his illness.

I believe Maidenhead have signed a couple of defenders in the last week or so.

Ah Maidenhead. Last season we played the in the first match after their talisman Tarpey left. And they did a job on us. Then there was the half time abandonment on Good Friday and then the rearranged game probably gave us our worst performance of the season.
Over the last 10 games, Maidenhead surprisingly don't have the worst form. That goes to Dover who have lost 8 out of those 10 games, and won 1 (against Maidenhead). And I think we all know where else they got a point....
Maidenhead have only scored once in their last 6 matches, losing them all and shipping 23 goals in the process. Means nothing if we can't perform (which of course will be affected by this weeks efforts), but we could do with that morale boosting win to get us back on track.

It will be interesting to see who plays in goal on Saturday as Ross would appear to be the keeper in possession of the gloves.

Must win for me this one. Got to put the game to bed and get the three points.
Maybe we will see the new signings what time do they have to sign before today in order to play tomorrow?.

Are you not adult enough to discuss a topic without getting sarcy or trying to whind the other person up? I pity you. Anyway onto the others who want to discuss things as adults I meant more it's an important game to win in the context of things and keeping in with the play off pack. If we finish 12th, 15th etc it doesn't really matter but would be nice to have some entertainment going into the last stages of the season Come on you yews!

Our entertainment at the end of the season could be the FA Trophy This is one of those games which we should be winning if we're progressing right. It won't be the end of the season if we don't of course, but it would be a nice pick me up for the players after the disappointment of Tuesday.

I'm just wondering who these "Yews" are, and hoping they're nothing to do with Operation Yewtree...

Whichever way you look at it, Dos has some difficult deciduous to make...

Getting back to being serious, the important thing at this stage is for Dos to keep confidence levels up. If we can keep creating chances in matches then, at some point, the goals will come. What bodes well is that, despite our comparatively barren patch in front of goal, we're still in a play-off position. Get over this little hump fairly quickly and we can really push on.

Obviously it isn't literally a must win, but i agree in terms of moral, confidence etc it could shape the next few weeks of season. Essential to put Tuesday behind us because there's still lots to play for. Roll on the trophy
