I will be renewing my season ticket. I have a car but every time something goes wrong with it I get it fixed. I do not think of selling it.
Even JC in the podcast interview posted on the forum admitted we had not been playing well and grinding out results. I think the team realise they have more potential.

Even though we haven't played at our best over the Christmas period we've still won three matches on the trot. That in itself is an impressive achievement. I consider myself truly privileged to be a U's season ticket holder in the most successful era in the club's history. The only downside is that a sustained period of such unprecedented success can instill artificially high expectations in some fans, as illustrated by the original poster's comments. Some of us are in danger of becoming spoiled brats, and I include myself in that category. Wouldn't dream of not renewing my season ticket though!

It’s a good job you have never supported Leyton Orient for over 55 years then, you would be a nervous wreck by now. It’s just a pity that since the Italian idiot has left and they are now in a proper league there has been much vitriolic abuse thrown about about this crap league and it’s tinpot teams. I do feel sad about this but SUFC wins hands down for me every time both players/management and our forum especially the repartee 🤪

Football fan (in this case one who travels from Andover to Sutton) gets the hump and has a moan at the team......................

I for one am very proud of this team and club. Winning ain’t always sexy, and we are punching well above our weight. I think we were very unlucky losing Tommy for such a lengthy period, but we’re currently in transition and will find the correct combo I’m sure ( complete faith in Dos and the management) HNY everyone! ( PS I’ll definitely be renewing at first opportunity)

I think I have the answer. AB to sell half season tickets. I don't mean a season ticket for the second half of the season but one just valid for the first 45 minutes of each game. That way you generally get to see a very good game with out all the petty time wasting and game management that the second half inevitably brings.😀

Well I haven't read all of the posts on here so I may be duplicating what others are saying.
Yes it was disappointing to be 2-0 up after 5 minutes to be hanging on at the end.
One thing I don't understand though. Why don't we leave anybody up when our opponents have corners or free kicks? Leave one up and usually our opponents would leave at least 2 back.

Something that gets mentioned a bit is "how good we are away compared to home". 26 games into the season - 13 home and 13 away. Home record in the league W6 D5 L2. Away form W6 D5 L2. GD at home +3, GD away +4. So statistically we're 1 goal better away from home. And that's it! And in addition to that we went out of both FA competitions (and I'm presuming we are still out of the Trophy until official confirmation to the contrary) away from home and also out of the Irn Bru away from home too. Wouldn’t that suggest our away performances are indeed better than our home ones given you’d expect home territory to yield more favourable results generally? Especially given we’ve travelled to 6 out of the other 8 of the top 9.

Maybe we don’t have a suitable player for the task. Our current forward three are all six footers, maybe Dos believes they are better served defending set pieces. I would think McQueen would be ideal to stay up. Hopefully we will see it tonight
