We can't have had many players with a surname stating with Z (markf disappears into the loft) Bit anorak-ish of me but I think we fielded a keeper during one of John Rains’ pre-seasons called Dominic-Jean Zepherin though I cant recall him playing competitively for Sutton. |

Zepherin only played in pre season.
Only Z I know is Alf Zimmer. Played in the 1950s. Played for Kingstonian too

Is the new keeper one of the first to play in a competitive first team game for Sutton being born in the 21 century? Basically the player has to be younger than 19 at the start of the year.
Bradley? Crossley? Jude? I'm pretty sure Drinan wasn't

Crossley? Jude? I'm pretty sure Drinan wasn't Assuming you take the view that the SSC is not a competitive first team game. I think I heard Dos say' only 18' about Bradley in an earlier interview. Correct me if I am wrong but Jude has not come off the bench to play in a first team game and Crossley has not made the bench. Our Child Protection Officer will need to be present on Saturday? |

By my reckoning this will be our squad tomorrow:
Ziger, Bennett, Pearce, Beckwith, Bailey, Eastmond, Davis, Beautyman, Bolarinwa, Toure, Ayunga, McQueen, Thomas-Asante, Mason, Lema, Mbeta/Ikebuasi - without a fair few at the moment!
Injured: Butler, Collins, Thomas, Brown, Wright.
Cup-tied: Worner, Williams, Dobson.
On loan: Taylor

Genuine question. Or indeed questions. Is, or will, our keeper for the rest of the season be the first Croat to play for Sutton? Plus, is there a clause that states he has to play a certain amount of games coupled with the wage he is on?

Safe journey. I suspect he's been brought in for the FA Trophy only, until Butler is fit. Warner will play all league games until that time, then the manager will have a selection problem! Butler or Warner until the rest of the season - Daddy or Chips. |
