This weekend sees a break from league matters and a re-entry/reinstatement to the FA Trophy - an issue heavily talked about over the last few weeks benefitting from Bromley’s unregistered player. We make the long trip to Durham to face a Spennymoor Town side going well in the National North (currently 5th and on Tuesday recorded a good win against Kidderminster).
The squad seems thin on the ground for this one with numerous players either injured or cup-tied plus Taylor out on loan. With an array of attacking options still available however, I’m confident we can get something.
I understand quite a few are travelling up so safe travels for all on Saturday.

The big question for me is who will play in goal. Waiting for news of a loan keeper (which I'm sure will be in place with the right paperwork in by the time of the match!)

That would be ironic wouldn't it?
I think one of the biggest challenges for Sutton will come not from the Spennymoor team, but from adapting to playing on the Brewery Field slope. Its probably one of the biggest sloped pitches of sides in the top 4 divisions of non league football and wouldn't be allowed for a new ground.

Yeah. I'm in goal. Only had to pay 15 quid in subs. On a serious note maybe the 'keeper who played against Chertsey will start. If he's eligible if course.

Wouldn't Seb Brown play? He was on the bench at Bromley in the last round, so I assume he's fit and capable.

We can't have had many players with a surname stating with Z (markf disappears into the loft)
