1. Why are there no pies available from Roses tea hut? Yes there is potential wastage for the operator but hot pies taken from a cabinet would speed up the queue rather than waiting for a burger or chips to be prepared. Pies are a traditional football ground food and are very popular with ex players! Could I also ask for forks with the chips rather than having to eat with fingers. Wooden chip forks are environmentally friendly. Just some thoughts. The refreshments are supplied by an independent company. Best you ask them next time you visit. If there is a demand I'm sure they will supply pies and forks

A reminder to everyone about this meeting next Monday. The meeting will be in two parts:
The first half will consist of Chairman and Manager, Bruce and Dos, talking about where we are now as a club; where we want to be and what we need to do to help us be there.
The second half is the chance for U’s supporters to ask all and any questions and share their views.
Looking forward to it.
7:30pm start. MBA Lounge - next Mon 18th.

I will probably not be at the meeting but would like to raise two really important points. Both food related. 2. Can we not operate a drinks ordering system at the bar on match days similar to a theatre interval. Order and pay for your drinks before the game. Get a ticket and the drinks are waiting for you after the game. This would relieve the crush immediately after a match and, could result in more revenue alsomther is the benefit of alleviating some of the pressure on the bar staff. A simple till in the bar is all that would be required and could cater for both the players and VP bar. Just some thoughts. Good post, I agree. I also agree that some veggy options might prove worthwhile How about some Gluten free stuff and also cater for those who are Lactose intolerant?

There would be nothing wrong with the idea of implementing those ideas, unless you're taking the piss? Veggie options (while not exactly an essential ingredient in forming the blueprint for our future) would be most welcome to people in this ever growing market. In case you think I'm some sort of militant vegan, that would be very far from the truth. I enjoy a mixed grill as much as the next man but why not offer the option?

Rosie's used to go great 241 bargains on sausage rolls in winter and actual ice cold bottled drinks in the summer. Both phased out in favour of homogenisation around the same time child labour was brought back to the concessions stands and labelled progress.

How about eating at home ,then you haven't got to be bothered with food at a football match. If you don't have burger, pie and chips etc between the hours of three and five on Saturday afternoon how will you manage to hang on until your evening meal ?

I am sure I am not the only supporter that gets to the ground directly from work especially for midweek matches and have no option than eat what is on offer or miss kick off.
