Questionable in many ways, but it's sort of good business sense. I don't suspect they sell many season tickets, so having them dirt cheap is a good idea to encourage more locals to give it a go. On the other hand, a substantial proportion of their gates are away fans, who would probably be willing - if grudgingly - to shell out a few quid on top of what they'd expected to pay, since they've already travelled and/or are dedicated to following their side.
It stinks but it makes sense for them.

I see Boring Wood have "done a Sutton" and are only charging £99.00 for an adult 2019/20 season ticket... good deal. You only have to go to 1.5 Boring wood games and you've made a saving on their match day prices

Hardly going to make a dent in what you have saved already. Just i don't want to put money into Boreham Woods coffers. My student son has to pay full adult price there ( or should i say i do ) plus his friend and neither have a job as students. Costly place to go. Compare that with Salford City at the other end of the scale where we all got in for £5 each.

Hardly going to make a dent in what you have saved already. Well if 250 Sutton supporters went to the away game at BW and they returned the compliment at our ground. I make that 250x25= 6250 for BW and 250x17=4250 for us. £2000 difference. Multiply that by 23 for home matches and that equates to £46k potentially over a season.

And that's the point I was making. They don't have enough of their own fans for decent gates, so they make money off everyone else's!

The reduction in our season ticket prices boosted our attendances significantly. It could happen there too.

Used to get nice cheese and also ham rolls there once. Sutton is one of the few towns where you can still get cheese or ham rolls in crusty bread. Ask at the 'Robin Hood'. Haven't been in the Robin for a while, I tend to use the Wetherspoonses due to the wider range of ale and cheaper prices Cheese rolls sound good though!

Just a quick update, one week after the event:
- 100 season tickets sold - More than £10,000 of shares sold - Two people have already enquired to explore the options of equity directorships
This is very encouraging, thank you everyone.
