No doubt this is the toughest game of the Christmas period. Sutton need to be at their best to win this one. The official preview can be found here.

Both teams will surely go into this contest in confident mood. Having banked six points from our last two matches, we can be more relaxed about the result than might have been the case. I thought Yeovil were pretty average when we lost 1-0 at Huish Park in September, but their form since then has been quite impressive. All that should make for an open and entertaining game.

Blessed is the person who having nothing to say abstains from giving us wordy evidence of the fact.

As far as I can tell, we lose both of our loan signings in January. I’m not aware that they’ve been extended and Nik Tzanev’s spell is supposed to end on 1st January (don’t know if that means before or after the Woking game). I hope someone can tell me that I’m wrong because our change in fortunes can really be traced back to when Louis and Nik arrived.

Hopefully Louis will be as well but haven't heard.

I thought Yeovil were very average when we went there earlier in the season and we were unlucky not to have come away with a point. We are a more confident team now and playing some good football. We shall certainly give them a good contest.

I actually think that the Woking match will be more difficult.. They know what to expect now and I imagine that Dowse will be giving them a sharp reminder about the Boxing Day game!

No Tarpey for the return game, I believe he doesn't play on 3G. He's obviously been listening to the EFL Experts (or perhaps it's the other way around?) He should speak to some of our more elderly players about the benefits of playing on an Axminster Carpet every other week. Yeovil should have no such misgivings...

So, Sutton win again against the side in second place in the League. Joint top other than goal difference actually.
Now unbeaten in seven and up to 12th, albeit having played a game more.
Anyone still want Matt Gray out?

Haven't heard much from the Gray out brigade lately! I haven't been able to make the last two. Can't wait for New year's day

Anyone still want Matt Gray out? They will pop up when we lose again. And they will get the same reaction they got from me earlier. I'm just happy that possibly the team performance of the season took place against the best side I've seen us play in the league. And we got all 3 points. Undefeated in December. Gray must get Manager of the month. But there still be some who want him sacked. Sod them. We're on the up.

Another fantastic performance against a very good Yeovil side. I believe our home form hoodoo has finally been diminished.

Brilliant effort from all concerned. A complete turnaround over last 7 games, and no less than fully deserved. In the darkest hours this teams work/team ethic never faltered and the results now coming are fully warranted. The arrival of Louis and Nick were masterstrokes by the management team and both have made a massive difference.
