I woke up this morning super nervous and super excited. 435 days have passed since I was last at Gander Green Lane (I had to go into isolation the day before the Solihull Moors home match), and like today Hartlepool United were the opposition. Another early goal from Tanto would be awesome. And maybe a few more from across the team.
Let’s hope the management and team have had a better nights sleep than we fans seem to have had. And that they’re more focused on the 90 minutes then I seem to be.
Come on Sutton!

Here we go.
Not much to say - everyone has said everything.
I’ll be watching @craven cottage (work - a shame but that’s life).

I’ve been watching Sutton for more than 50 years but I’m new to the game compared to my dad, Brian who is nearly 91 and been going to Gander Green Lane since 1936 - 85 years a fan. Being a bit unsteady on his feet has seen him not being able to attend much in recent years but he follows the Us religiously and, like me, is overwhelmed by our success this year and the prospect of seeing league football at our wonderful club. He had a fall recently and broke his femur so will be watching from his hospital bed in St Helier. He tells me this might not actually be our best team ever but it’s certainly the most successful and the ward will be ringing to the sound of him shouting the team on.
The train to Dreamland departs at 12.45...

Joining the train to bring me down south, a west ham fan stopped me,'are you going to the game? I hope you do it.' He couldn't have recognised Sutton United colours, could he?

Here's a question. If Sutton were to win today would they lift trophy after the game or would we have to wait until the Barnet game?
All metaphorical of course at the moment.

Thank you. So, the trophy is already at Gander Green Lane. Let's hope that it stays there!

An almost unimaginable day today! Sadly, I won't be there, but will certainly be keeping tabs on what's happening.
Could this be the 2nd time a team wins at GGL and gains promotion to the Football League? I was there the last time.
C'mon Sutton!

Watching from a campervan site in Norfolk. I am the only person in the Sports Bar!

This is going to be the most nerve racking 45 minutes I will ever witness. So far anyway.
But I'm confused as to how BT had Wilson down as the scorer!

That's BT for you! It's freezing in this sports bar. I'm not going to put a jacket over the colours though...
