That said, who would have thought that 3-0 was likely today, tremendous just f*ckin tremendous! (Expletive used as totally justified on the occasion of this unbelievable achievement!)

And quote of the day from Bruce while being interviewed by Jeff Brazier after the game: "I asked Matt to get us to 50pts as quickly as possible and please keep us in this league - so clearly he's failed there!!" Ha Ha, Brilliant

The problems of next season start here.
Problem 1 Tanto is outstanding and why Millwall wouldn’t put him in their squad now I don’t know. If he does stay with us on loan it won’t be a whole season.
Problem 2 think we will need to crowd fund buying Donavan as he’s class as well and Bath will want silly money for him.
Problem 3 Matt is such a good manager every club is going to be looking at him. A good move that Bruce got him to put pen to paper then rather now.
Problem 4 Do we / can we stay part time - otherwise we may lose some of the squad. This squad is good enough for league 2 now.
Problem 5 I though we would be playing lots of new teams next season but depending on the playoffs we played 50% of them before

Thank you so much to the Torquay fan who posted “good luck in the playoffs” after we lost at Notts County. Your inspirational post had the desired effect. So, without further ado - right back at yer.

Matt in his interview after the game said that he thought that Tanto would clearly be wanted by Millwall but still may be able to stay with us on loan. Donovan was playing NLS football and now has the opportunity to play in the EFL. Matt will want to build on his 1st full season Im sure and we will be F/T. New season, new opponents, but nothing top fear....its all good!

What a day this is for the club, been following it for over thirty years and remember when we were getting crowds off just three hundred. So I’m so pleased for the fans that stayed with the club through the bad times and never walked a way.
Also too Bruce who new the club had to change and change it has. I’m Shore Paul will have a tear in his eyes seeing us go up. This club means so much to him.
And lastly too the players what a team, the best team to play for this ace club no questions about that.
One more thing, if Barrow can stay up so can we.

Congratulations from this part-time supporter, to Bruce and the board through to those that volunteer for an hour or two each week. I’m also thinking about Dos in all this, a man who acted as the springboard for a lot of what has come to pass this afternoon.
Will update my part-time status and join the gang of glory hunters who are bound to show up now, but being the friendly club that SUFC is, we will all be welcomed I’m sure.
