Another day, another new ground and another new opponent.
Odd side Bradford. Not won at home in the league for over 2 months, yet are getting a lot of draws. In fact they have draw half of their league games this season. They were a little lucky on Weds night in their draw (surprise surprise!) at home to Colchester, when in injury time their keeper handled outside the area and wasn't given any sort of card.
Our form of course is obviously better, but not really an indicator when we already know we probably won't be able to name a full bench, many of the fit players will be knackered from their endeavours on Tuesday and we probably will have players playing in not their preferred position.
At full strength we could easily come away from Valley Parade with 3 points. As we're nowhere near that, just avoiding a defeat would feel like a huge win for us. Amazingly enough, the last time we drew in the league was on 21st August at Scunthorpe.

Promises to be an interesting day, and we wait with a degree of trepidation to see what sort of team Matt is able to put out.
As Andy says, Bradford are not exactly in sparkling form. They've drawn five of their last six league games, losing the other. They've also drawn five of their last six home games, again losing the other. Their last league victory was on 23 October and their last home win on 2 October. Their leading scorer Andy Cook has been sidelined by injury since the middle of last month.
One forward we are likely to face tomorrow is Carshalton-born Lee Angol who's played against us in Conference South for Boreham Wood.
Bradford are comfortably the best supported side in League Two, and we can expect a 15,000+ crowd tomorrow. Whatever the result, being at Valley Parade should be a memorable experience for players and supporters. Playing in front of a big crowd can work for or against you, depending in part on the home fans' attitude towards their team!
My recommended pub is the Record Café (45-47 North Parade BD1 3JH), a bar that doubles as a vinyl record shop! Good choice of Yorkshire-brewed beers plus ciders and gins here, as well as a charcuterie menu. There are several other interesting bars in the same street, so a decent little crawl is possible. It's only about a ten minute walk on to Valley Parade.

Looking forward to it. Looks like another super ground to visit. Bradford are 6/5 favourites with Sutton outsiders at 12/5.11/5 the draw.

Also looking forward tomorrow for the trip to Valley Parade. Should be a close game. Hopefully the injury list is not longer and Matt can select a good squad for tomorrow. Good luck to all who are going.

I’m up for the weekend but will be seeing my first love Huddersfield Town at home to Coventry City. It’s a 1230pm KO but it still wouldn’t be possible to get to Valley Parade for 3pm unfortunately. You need to take Bradford’s crowds with a huge pinch of salt. Yes, it’s a big ground by L2 standards, yes they have decent support by L2 standards, but they are notorious for artificially boosting their stated attendances by including all ST’s, including the massive number they’ve either given out to schools or those that bought cheap multi-season tickets a few years ago but rarely ever attend. They’ll claim something like 15k attendance, reality will be 10k maximum. It’s also a pretty dismal stadium, frankly, in a particularly undesirable part of Bradford.

That's terrible, who would do such a thing? A visit from Billy would soon sort THAT out.

Will be interesting to see what result comes from the draw specialists (Bradford) vs a team who doesn't tend to draw many (Sutton).
I predict a 4-4 draw. 🤣

It does look awful, doesnt it? I'd much rather have our ramshackle non league dump than their Championship+ standard ground of significant historical interest. I'm dreading lowering myself to such a standard for today's match and will be longing for next Saturday when I can squint at the far away action from a tiny terrace twenty feet from the touchline. I love our club, but our ground is a different matter.
