2 years ago since one of our more memorable away days in the Football League - that 3-3 draw at Stevenage. All in green that day, we were 0-2 and 1-3 down before mounting a good fight back nabbing a point thanks to Bennett’s late late header (90+8).
Bouzanis; Barden, John, Goodliffe, Milsom; Ajiboye, Smith, Eastmond, Olaofe; Wilson, Sho-Silva.
Subs: Wyatt, Davis, Randall, Nelson, Boldewijn, Kizzi, Bennett.

Also the day on which Yeovil’s player-manager volleyed one of the best own goals of all time on a very windy day at the old Huish ground (1983)

51 years ago Ricky Kidd and Dave Wise scored on debut in a 3-2 win at home to Oxford City. Graham Dennis also scored.

We all need cheering up. On this day 45 years ago, 14/3/79 - it could be argued that the journey that led us here began.
Unfancied in the Anglo Italian Cup we gained a 1-1 draw away to Juniorcasale and, of course, went on to beat Chieti in the final. Gavin Fraser scored our goal.

And three days later, 17/3/79, a rare Keith Walden goal gave us a 1-0 victory away to Cremonese

It was Waldo's first goal for Sutton. And if I remember correctly, he then scored again in the next match back in England against Kingstonian.

26/3/1981 A goal by Ian “Ted” Parsons was enough to secure a narrow win away to Aylesbury United and put the U’s through to the semi finals of the FA Trophy. The tie had been put back to a Thursday because of the weather and it’s fair to say that some of the locals didn’t take kindly to the result. The game was at their original ground in Turnfurlong Lane.

I remember another cup game against Aylesbury United in the 1980s where we secured a narrow win and some of the locals didn't take kindly to the result either!
