Well it looks like no Thameslink trains on Saturday which is a bit of a pain.

Does the club have an idea of expected crowd ? - we all seem to think it will be a big gate - aside from us only Brentford Orient and Charlton playing in the capital - so we may get some neutrals as well .Could we exceed 4000? What is our actual ground capacity at the moment?

What is our actual ground capacity at the moment? Tony mentioned on the PA on Tuesday that they were expecting a large crowd and that Northampton had sold out their allocation. It would be great if it was over 4,000 but I think that will depend on how much of a draw 3rd v 4th is for the more neutral/casual supporter.

Looking forward to this one. I'm sure Northampton will be a stronger outfit than the one we played at their place but i've been told by a local that they are in a false place. Still i've heard some say that about us!!

Sutton (4th in the home form table) v Northampton (4th in the away form table)
6th v 9th in the form table. Northampton without a win the last 3. Us without a defeat in 6 odd weeks.
We've got the same goal difference. Point per match 1.72 v 1.71. This is going to be too tough to call, but I really can't see it being a 0-0.

Enjoy tomorrow.
I am very envious of everyone who’ll be there.
Will be listening from afar.
No predictions - I’ll leave that to the final 10’ games of the season when we are closing in on Forest 🌳 Green.

This feels like an proper event-match. Yet I have not a shred of anxiety about the possibility of us being beaten (why should we not win?) nor will I feel especially down if we did lose. Because I know how our team plays, how they give their all and I am just enjoying the whole, splendid, ride.
Really looking forward to this.

In a season of firsts is this our first 'six pointer' in the football league?

Someone on the Northampton board has said they have heard we only have 750 tickets left for tomorrow. Heresay of course but if true we’re presumably on course for a club record league crowd.

I suspect that today's starting X1 is what Matt currently considers to be his first X1. It will be interesting to see whether a fully fit Harry can force his way into the 1st X1. The way that Coby was playing before he was injured, he must have a chance as well. Shows strength of current squad that Ricky can't even get a place on the bench in spite of playing well when he came on against Colchester.

Sometimes a nil nil draw tastes good. Today was one of them. A hard won point.
