As for Craig Eastmond, don't worry about how many times he gets sent off and misses games-let's just keep on giving him the benefit of the doubt. It's never his fault. Seems like the only company you keep on this was the Northampton manager, Billy.

So it's just as well we gave him the benefit of the doubt, Billy. No?

I do hope the 4th official and the ref stop and consider this. I hope rather than expect.
4th official should not be making on field decisions especially when they're constantly being harangued by one bench or indeed both.

Point of interest. I've just googled Kettles record for this season. 69 yellow cards. 5 red. As previous posts .not one of the best.

The thing is that fourth official was Trevor Kettle. He’s been an EFL referee for 15 years or more, but has never progressed (as far as I know) above L1 level. Why is that, you may ask? He’s one of those referees who simply have to be the centre of attention. I’ve seen him many a time and he always comes across as arrogant and with absolutely no feel for the game. He probably thought being just the fourth official at Sutton was below him, so, true to form, he had to get himself involved in controversy. One of the absolute worst officials.

I think that Mark Frake makes a very good point about the harassment of the 4th official by one or more of the benches. Not so long ago, referees were encouraged to take tougher action against players/teams who surrounded referees and intimidated them into making decisions in their favour. I can remember the Man Utd team of the Roy Keane, Gary Neville and Paul Scholes era commonly engaging in this type of behaviour. Of course, at the same time, Sir Alex was in the face/ear of the 4th official and linesman. If intimidated 4th officials start influencing on field decisions, then such intimidation is equivalent to players surrounding the referee in terms of unduly influencing on field matters. Much as I worship the man for everything he did for our club, I think it's fair to say that Dos was never shy about getting in the face of officials on the touchline.

After the game Brady stated that Pinnock had stud marks on his shin and it was a definite sending off. I won’t be changing my opinion of him any time soon.

Here are three more who were always being picked on by referees for next to nothing. Duncan Ferguson Vinnie Jones Joey Barton I'm afraid I disagree with you there. Joey Barton should not have anything to do with football.

Entirely 4th offical's doing. Absolute disgrace. Stick to programming the effing number display next time rather than trying to cash in your accumulator. Fraudulent and not fit to referee an under 9s game.
