No it’s draught not canned so you’ll be OK👍😂 No I’m not talking about cans  All I’m saying is that we have always had a kind of fans zone outside the bars in the car park where people stand with pints. I’m not sure this is going to change anything? It is just that since we got in league 2 you are not able to return here at half time. Instead of every one hanging around the car park, I think the Idea is too have every one in one place. It will be saver as cars and coaches come in and out. Also there’s a place fore every one too meet, so I think it’s a great idea.⚽️⚽️⚽️ |

Popped down to look this evening, I think the Fan Zone area will be a huge success. Lots of us oldies know you can wander into the bar area and through to players bar but I do wonder how many new supporters have felt they were not allowed to?
Looks nicer than what we were given at Wembley, what it may lack now will improve (given constructive feedback) and whilst I am far from an expert this Signal Beer tasted very nice.
Complaints were made at the previous MTM eve that we could not get a beer before the match and money was going elsewhere, this solves that problem. The half time matter will be sorted soon I am sure.

Did think of the Oxford Tube bus but couldn't face it.Expect it will be rammed and the roads busy too.

The league's back...it must mean that summer's over! All the best to the club and the fans for the season ahead. I'll be following the usual gubbins from Gandermonium from afar and look forward to the first classified check of the season delivering "Sutton United" with the familar inflection that indicates three points.

First game of the season.
It was good to see that there was over 3000 in the ground.
As of last year Newport brought their rugby team again.
Game plan .Rough up our players first ie.LJ And BG.in the first ten minutes!!
Look like BG has an knee injury and just before half time it seemed W R had a dead leg but of course I could be wrong.before his injury WR was having a very good game.
Very scrappy game.
Again were do they find these referees
No further comment.
Two points which arose during the game.
1. Rose's kicking .It seems he can only kick it as an up and under ( rugby term)( kicks high)
2.Put the ball to D W's feet( pass )He plays better with ball at foot.
He is not a target man.A point each, a fair result for a scrappy game.
Hope there are no more injuries and onward to Doncaster next week.

Shame we couldn’t get out at the end of the match why let us in through park entrance and not let us out that way. It was dangerous especially for the man in his wheelchair!!

The steward was told not open the big exit gate on the Rec side until he radioed to his boss, then it was opened. No idea why it was closed in the first place

Goal scorers Omar Bugiel and Omar Bogle, so a 1-1 draw. Agricultural rough and tumble but all good fun. I thought it was just about a fair result. I stand by what I said about Jack Rose after the Bromley game… right now he’s not helping Sutton to attack because his kicking isn’t varied enough. Seems like I’m not the only one to notice this.
Losing Goodliffe and Randall fairly early on were big losses at the back and at the front. I’m afraid I thought Neufville seemed a bit overwhelmed today, he needs to contribute more, lots to work on.
Something like 16 minutes additional time, it was 503pm before the game ended.

Seven outfield players who played for us last season have now left the club (plus two keepers). Two of these would probably have been in our starting team if everyone was fit (David and Tanto). So far as we are aware, we received transfer fees for three of them (David, Richie and Tobi).
So far, seven outfield players have come into the club from outside (plus one keeper). None of these were in the team that started today and only two were on the bench. So far as we are aware, we haven't paid a fee for any of them.

Regarding programmes.
ANDREW does a great job selling the programmes.
He first sells outside the turnstiles then goes onto the ground and sells them there.
