Having read the other earlier posts,it seems Iam not the only one with the same views. Suggestion.Close the training centre ( not fit for purpose)and spend the money saved on new players in January!!? As been said we could be playing Farnborough in the National league next season if things don't improve. ( I hope not!! ) We won't be. We won't go down and they won't go up.

Frankly that second half performance from Sutton United was shocking, and the score line was no more than Farnborough deserved. There was only one team playing any football, and that wasn’t SU.
The fact that Craig Dundas was brought on in preference to Fadahunsi when Sutton needed to somehow find an equaliser was, in my opinion, very telling. It indicated to me that SU did not take the game seriously. This season the FA Cup did not matter to SU, no matter what MG et al might say otherwise.
Actions speak louder than words.

I wholly agree with the first part of your reply but not the 2nd. Matts changes are rather predictable. Only one of Kendall or Tope was going to replace Wilson. There wasn't anyone to replace Kouassi on the bench. Because Matt is so rigid in his replacements, he can only see like for like more often than not, and therefore when Will was obviously spent (which was probably at least 10mins too late) he had to rely on Dundas to replace him because to Matt he had no other option. We named 2 keepers on the bench today. I think that shows how thin our squad was. But even with the thinness of our squad, we not only should have not lost, we shouldn't have done so in the manner we did. There wasn't one player out there that cost us the game. It was a case of united we stand united we fall today.

A bit early but this is what I would like for Christmas:
1. A plan B 2. Loan out the deadwood if we can find clubs that will take them. Return a loanee and put a GK out on loan (not House or Rose) 3. Replace those on loan with two quality players that are not out of place in League 2.
Cannot understand why you would bring on a 42 year old ahead of a forward that has scored goals this season. Goals are something we are severely lacking.

Halfimet and os made some good comments on their last posts. Terrier also made a Good comment regarding the use of subs. Some of which I have found baffling in previous matches.

Why were two goalies on the bench? Was it to make a full subs bench and avoid a fine?

We won't be. We won't go down and they won't go up. Well we won't get another 31pts with performances like that! So are you saying that you were wrong about Wilson and Kouassi partnership up front would lead to a hatful of goals?

Kouassi played well, should of scored and caused them problems, but he is only 1 player, as a team today the 2nd half performance was woefull.

Question. Was today worse than Gillingham?

Shocking. The fact that we couldn't break down a side two divisions below at home is extremely worrying. I could see easily see us getting sucked into a relegation dogfight. The teams below us will all strengthen in Jan and every side and their groundsman's wife know how we are going to play. We are so predictable and we cannot score goals. Somehow we need to find alternative ways of playing when plan A isn't working. Whether that requires different personel, a different mindset, or both, I do not know. We can bemoan bad luck, injuries and keepers' performances all we like but if we cannot score goals we will be sucked towards the trapdoor and it might be another 123 years before we get back through it.

Yes we are to predictable. Yes we only have one plan. Yes we could be drawn into a relegation battle if it is not sorted out. If I remember rightly when Matt first came in he said that he wanted fast attacking scoring football. Where has that gone.

As a farnborough fan visiting in peace! Can I just come here and commend you as a team and a community. Firstly , upon arrival and throughout the game your stewards were pure class! Never been to a ground that has shown gracious hospitality even during the last 10mins when the odds were in our favour. Secondly to yourselves as fans, well wishes for a team two leagues lower rather than pisstaking . Since we met you in the non league alot of improvements have been made to your stadium etc as you should all be proud
Thank you and good luck for the season

Question. Was today worse than Gillingham? First half no. Second half yes. On balance overall, yes.
