I'm a little puzzled why Smith didn't start. He's our best forward by a country mile and it's not as though he's been injured. I'm also puzzled why Patrick didn't start after having his best game for us on Tuesday. It's not as though he's knackered as he's hardly played a full 90 minutes. Although the performances have improved it's still not good enough. I'm not a fan of changing 4 or 5 players every game. We're running out of time and soon it'll be too late. It was clear that it was a mistake taking Easty off at h/t against Harrogate (unless he was injured but i don't think he was) and i think it was a mistake starting with Angol and Sanderson up front on Saturday as they offered absolutely nothing in the first half.
It will be interesting to see what SM comes up with on Saturday.

SM said that they were treating HS like an injured player returning, as he has not played for a month, and while he has not been injured and has been in training, its not the same as being match fit..

Is anyone feeling any better a couple of days after Saturdays game?
I thought we played pretty well throughout the game, much the better side - we’re just not getting that rub of the green at the moment.
Just 4 defeats in our last 15 league games and a third of the season to go now we need to look ahead now and focus on Saturdays game at Morecambe!
