Rumour on the Ryman forum that Steffan Ball may be signing for Tooting.

Do they have any barn doors that he could miss for them?

Do they have any barn doors that he could miss for them? Yeah and now he will score how many against us?

Don't worry, I'm sure none of the clubs will have included that 75k in their budgets and so won't leave a big hole in their finances when they don't pay up.
Oh wait.....

Setanta Goes bust, tv channel to be taken off air in the UK: All Nat Conference clubs lose a min of 75k each all Blue Sq Sth and Nth sides to lose min 15k each. It appears that there is no TV deal to show non league matches and the Setanta shield has no backers unless someone buys the rights from the administrators? Oh Dear! Glad we are only in the Ryman

Let's set up a consortium to buy them at a cheap price. Who's with me?!

Let's set up a consortium to buy them at a cheap price. Who's with me?! You have only got to call Delotte the administrators and make an offer for what you want, its what they are there for, but do you really want the rights to the Setanta shield and do own your own TV station?

Come on guys, you've missed the obvious marketing opportunity. ESPN are buying Setanta's Premiership games. ESPN are part of Disney, so if they went for the Conference's Shield competition then clubs really could play in a Mickey Mouse cup ! ;D
