I'd say it is too optimistic.
We have a tough December coming up, if we're in the top 5 or thereabouts at the end of it we'll be in the play offs and should have a good chance. A lot of football to be played though and we have to hit some consistency. Would also be nice to keep Norwood for as long as possible! Agree with Billy about MOM!

Good luck to Gargan he did well. However the other lad was sensational,it's a pleasure to watch people that can play like that as they are so few and far between nowadays.
He took people on and made things happen and was good with both feet.A more obvious MOM i never did see.

Well done to Clive, Steve the Met and the rest for organising the Fun Day and that's exactly what it was. Great to have a terrific performance at home. Wealdstone were shocked. Won't re-state the obvious but cracking game - played for 90 mins to our best form. The standard has now been set.

I'd say it is too optimistic. Its a long old season and 10pts can disappear very quickly at all levels and does with more regularity then you would think. December is a big old month then there are still 4 more to go, don't give up boys We play our game in hand over Darts on Tuesday and Dartford visit Wealdstone next Sat for the backlash

I didn't say that on the one performance we will catch Dartford - my implication is that Dartford are wobbling, and if it continues they can be caught - this could be by Hasting, Canvey, K's, us, Wealdstone etc. Its an outside chance, but even if there is a glimmer of a chance, if you were Dos, wouldn't you be pushing for that?

Obviously never give up on anything, but they have dropped 7 points all season!! We have lost 6 games. Never say never but if I was manager I'd just be looking for consistency right now. Get that and we'll be in the play offs.

Super performance today. Everyone put in their shift and for the whole 90mins as well. Probably the best attacking display at GGL since the Ide\Gaynor debut against Weston in 2007. Wealdstone looked a tad leggy to me. They've not got a huge squad and they looked a bit like a side who'd played a lot of football lately and were struggling a bit. Still, we did what we had to do, got at them early and never really let up for the whole game. Great hat-trick from Sam, took his second especially well after some lovely play around the edge of their box. Super goal. Great FK from Pouts and great to see Wattsy poke one in at the death. I'll agree with Billy. James was excellent and deserved MoM, but then we didn't pay our tenner to make the choice did we mate? And as is the way with such things, hat-tricks tend to get more recognition than an overall performance like that. Don't worry though, we more than let James know how much his contributions were valued in the bar afterwards. More of the same again tuesday please. We're up to 5th now and a decent points return from December could really push us seriously into the PO picture.

Excellent team performance today and very enjoyable to watch. Dartford have lost their midfield general,Jamie Day to Welling and look like they are wobbling. We need to put a run of victories together and who knows,we might just catch them up.

You know what? I think we'll take Dartford and finish top based upon today. Because?
We played wide. Wing play was immense - Taylor, Phillips and Norwood crossing in and passing great balls.
Can we keep Norwood please?

As everybody has said, it was a great performance. Probably the best of the season (along with Hampton & Richmond away in the cup).
Great to see the bigger emphasis on attacking and Sam looks so much better when not up there on his own. Hat tricks will almost always guarantee man of the match so I was not suprised Sam got it.
It was the kind of performance when they were all MOM really. Kevin had little to do in goal but when called upon still did what was needed. Jason was immense and AJ was his usual outstanding stuff. We should have given them all the award.
James Norwood was great though and more of the same on Tuesday please.

Very pleased for Sam, he does so much work for the team and has often been up front alone, working his bits off without actually getting any chances for himself. The chances came today and were richly deserved, he didn't waste them and finished with aplomb. Very, very well done.

Just had a good laugh after looking at the Wealdstone Forum. They recon they had two cast iron penalties turned down! I didnt realise they had got in our box twice.Bunch of tossers!

You would think they'd be more worried about the 5 goals conceded and a further 6 or 7 very presentable chances that we didn't take!!
