Well in any statto book, 8 in 19 is just under an average of of a goal every other game. And hes score over a quarter of ALL our league goals this season. And he has the same goalscoring ratio as Watts, who has score all but 1 (or maybe 2) of his goals this season from the spot.
If you look at the stats, which you obviously do, he is our most prolific scorer

I thought Sam wasn't great today but he is young and a very good prospect.
I respect Billy's point of view but don't agree with him in this case. I understand that this board exists to express information and points of view.It would be better if players don't read this bb as sooner or later they will read something they don't want to read about themselves but that is no reason for people not to express their opinion, good or bad.

Billy
Watts doesn't start as his body won't let him play a full game.

Delboy you are right. Theres nothing wrong with people expressing their opinion at all. But then again, if you support the club, you can express negativity in such a way as for it to be constructive. Calling someone a 'donkey' is not that. To quote the text at the top of the page "having an opinion is fine but please do not overstep the mark "

It was a good result.
Andy, Billy is not over stepping the mark by saying he think Gargan is a donkey, I disagree but he has every right to express his opinion.

So Sam did not score today and did not have the best of games but so what? Collectively the side won 3-0 at a canter plus hit the woodwork, why would anyone want to go back and change the starting linup?? Sam is a different type of player to Watts, 2 different horses (note I said Horses) for 2 different courses and to be honest Steve is living a bit of a charmed life with his goal scoring, every time he goes on he gets a penalty to take. If Sam took them maybe he would have 12 or 13 in 18 games? Andy, Billy is not over stepping the mark by saying he think Gargan is a donkey, I disagree but he has every right to express his opinion. Interesting point although I would say that the term 'Donkey' is used to refer to a player who is unskillful and uses his physical presence to overcome this on the field of play. Technically its a personal insult which could be considered libelous by the player and therefore this board would be breaking the law if it allowed the comment to stand?

Andy, Billy is not over stepping the mark by saying he think Gargan is a donkey, I disagree but he has every right to express his opinion. I agree, he does have every right to express his opinion. But I've never said that was a problem. Maybe i'm in the minority here, but I'm always of the belief that what you post on a messageboard, you should be able to say in public - i.e to the person involved if you are talking about a person. There a big difference between "Sam is showing he's not up to the expected standard needed at Sutton" and "Sam is a donkey". The first is an opinion, the 2nd is an insult. There is a difference.

Perhaps they should change the wording at the top to read as follows.........................
"having an opinion is fine but please do not disagree with Andy"

Perhaps they should change the wording at the top to read as follows......................... "having an opinion is fine but please do not disagree with Andy" Oh dear. Sure, my opinion is more important than anyone elses. Let me say it again. I'm not questioning or denying yours or anyone else's right to an opinion. I'm saying that calling someone a donkey is not going to do anyone a favour. I've actually said this 3 times in this thread, and you have decided to ignore it, or have not been able to read the post correctly.
