Good to see Dos make a squad update and see the players mention sign forms. Think getting Abnett on board does really indicate that Boateng won't be around for us this season - however I still think Riviere will make the rightback spot his own (he's impressed there so far during pre-season). Reece Jones impressed my during the second half of the Eastleigh game in particular and had a feeling he would get signed on likewise with Matt Reece.
Overall a lot of competition in the squad in my opinion and it does look very strong - think we will compete well this season. I do think Dos will take another look at McKoy so he may be the final addition to the squad!

Shame that Vassells potential never materialised into the goals that he could provide, but time is not on our side and changes need to be made. Good luck Kyle!

Shame that Vassells potential never materialised into the goals that he could provide Kyle is our joint leading scorer this season - level with Harry B on 3! I do agree that his potential wasn't realised. His pre-season form earned him a place in our starting line-up, but he didn't take the opportunities and soon had to settle for a place on the bench. All of his goals came as a sub, and lately he was brought on in a wide position rather than as a striker. With Marvin Williams now in the squad it was always likely that one of the other forwards would leave and Kyle looked the most vulnerable.

I don't believe Kyle was quite up to the standard that we require at the present time. However thats not to say that he won't be in the future.
