I hope we get drawn to play them late on in the season, once their superstar team has gone all wrong and disbanded, leaving them with a group of youth players. Always happens to at least 1 team, every season of late.

Blimey, I misread that and thought for a moment we were signing Frankie Fraser, The Don - still, that would keep it tight at the back and his disciplinary record is only slightly worse than Tom Davis

Probably for the reason that if the said player hasn't yet signed for us, we dont want to cause too much speculation as this can cause all sorts of problems, ie if we are perhaps trying to poach a player away from another perspective club or future club. Naming players before they are signed can cause a huge number of problems/ knock on effects!!
.... And as most of know. The guardian newspaper gets most of its facts completely and utterly wrong !!

Blimey, I must have been too slow as I did not see any name mentioned and then removed.
I wouldnt have thought it would be too long now until any new signing is completed as I am sure Dos wants to get his squad completed ASAP and no doubt, the player concerned will be keen to sort out where he will be playing his football next season.
