You want to read all the comments on here Tudor before getting hot under the collar. If he was a yard offside it wasn't a nailed on pen was it? It was offside. So, thanks for clearing that up. For our 5 your no 4 mate.
As for our 'keeper your fellow was going away from goal hence only the yellow. I am also unsure of how much contact our 'keeper made. We have had to put up with similar this season too.
As for your fans; other than the usual crap that some have nicked off the TV, they were far better behaved than their pitch invasion at Clarence Park the other night.

I will get onto the game in a minute but first off a word or two about the organization. Clearly the size of this game was a ahem challenge for HH. The bar operation was nuts until you realised that the game was to buy a tray, yes a tray of beers, and cart them half way round the ground to minimise the time you spent in the half hour queues Parts of the ground looked like a magaluf beach bar without the sunshine. I'm not particularly bothered about people drinking throughout the game other than the fact that it is such a flagrant breach of fa rules and I will give you good odds that if we allowed the same on Tuesday we would be fined and battered by the fa. One copper said that fa rules on drinking within the ground dint apply in qualifying rounds. What a load of bollocks. From plebgate to pintgate Yes I met some decent HH fans but I don't like having the words sutton wonker spat in my face by some first game bunch of Herbert's on the half time turnaround. Anyway not much to add to frakeys report. Personally on balance I will take the draw and a chance to sort this out Tuesday night in what should be another belter and looking forward to the draw tomorrow. This was a real rocking and rolling cup tie and yes we should have won it but also we could have lost it I will be interested to see how many they bring down the lane Tuesday after all that "is that all you take away " bollocks. This many actually, enough to fill a fecking end and probably as many as HH get in total for a normal league game.

A true nailbiter. To be totally honest, it should never have been a draw. Hemel score from a defensive error by us and a foul. Two awful penalty decisions - both Dundo and Skip didn't even get a card for those. The first penalty fell nicely for a rebound. The 2nd penalty should never have been given. Hemel had a nasty habit of diving and the ref fell for it every time. Lovelock gets a booking after their number 7 fell without contact being made. Their no4 gets a yellow and then nothing for 2 further bookable fouls in the following minutes. My feeling is that Hemel have had their chance. I'm not being cocky here, but for a side who are unbeatable, they needed a lot of luck today to get a draw, and the standard in football between the two teams was very noticeable. If we had settled in the first 10minutes and the ref was more on the ball, we'd have cruised through today. I was very disappointed with the standard that Hemel showed today. As for us, Dean Mc was good in the first half, best game he's had in a couple weeks. Mitch was a changed man after the goal - before his confidence had gone. The pick of the goals was Ali's first goal for the club, a cracking low drive that no goalie would have got to. Still we're in the hat tomorrow, and I really believe we will overcome our opponents in what I think is Dos's first cup replay as a Sutton Manager. Final thing - some of the Hemel fans were quite horrid were they not? A lot of Sutton are sh*t and general abuse, even in the bar before the game. And this continued during the game. Of course, you could drink on the terraces. I think the two facts could be related. If Hemel go up and with bigger crowds this is going to end up being an issue for them. I was going to say "what a great advertisement for Non League Football" this was until I read Andy K's report. What game was you watching ? As for our support, we aren't all "horrid" old chap, why paint us all with the same brush ? Foul for the first goal ? your no 2 is twice the size of Hutton who turned him inside out, your no 5 should have been sitting in the changing room after his assault on Toomey and your keeper can count himself very lucky too. Both pens were "nailed on" even if Mackey was a yard offside for the first one and a ball hitting our defenders elbow when the ball was fired at him from a yard away was harsh to say the least. Why do clubs from your level always insist on giving it the "you are not worthy" when they lower themselves to play a club like ours ? I have no doubt you'll win on Tuesday but give us some credit please. It was a great game and the standard was very good indeed - from BOTH teams ! Hang your head Andy K and thanks Delboy, we are not a bad bunch. I suggest you take note of the word some rather than reading it as all. As for the game I was watching it was a nail biting cup tie between two good sides. If you want to take my words and change them to suit you because it was a game you didn't win then that's fine. And if you want to talk about players who should have been in the dressing room your no4 is the prime candidate. The fact is you needed 2 penalties today to get you a draw. Lets see what happens on Tuesday. If you beat us fair and square I'll be the first to congratulate you.

I have just seen the video of both pens if they were nailed on then I suggest 'no nails' and Specsavers are the way to go!

Looks like Bornatotter is now the favourite on the Hemel forum.
I thought it was a good game today and they tried to really take it to us. After taking such control of the first half, it was so disappointing to give away a penalty bang on half time and even worse to do it again at the beginning of the second half.
I might be in a minority here but evenif they were not 'nailed on' , it seemed that they had stretched us to the point that these challenges had to be made and that was something teams in our own division haven't done much lately.
As for sending off's, their 4 should have gone but I am afraid the ref bottled if twice. As for Downer, I was at the other end so can't comment on the elbow but the linesman was close by and had a long chat with the ref. clearly neither thought it was an elbow.
After the reports of pitch invasions and flares last week, the Hemel fans were not as bad as I feared they might be (perhaps the latest FA investigation is knocking some sense into them). I hope they enjoy their visit on Tuesday but tell the drummer to leave his drum at home!!
Let's hope for an exciting draw tomorrow which will help to spur us on to victory on Tuesday. We probably should have won today after going 3-1 up but it wasn't to be. Let's sort it out in the replay!

I didn't really see the town itself but the planners must have been pissed when they designed some of those roundabouts!

Just read a couple of reports from the Hemel site. Love the way the author thinks he is making a statement of fact rather than giving an opinion. I would agree that SD appeared to have an armed raised in his challenge on Toomey but not sure it was bad as the reaction it got. Also, I will repeat that the guy was going away from goal when Tom was adjudged to have brought him down, so not a red. Laws of the Game are fact not a reporter's observations.

I don't think we will be hearing too much more from them on some of these incidents as the videos filter through. BT Sport were filming as well today and that second penalty is not going to look pretty if they show it on ITV tomorrow.

Great entertainment. Disappointed we slacked off 5 mins before ht, think some thought job done when 3rd went in. Real shame as we had recovered well from a poor start to play some really good stuff and threatened a lot. Their 2nd was a pen imo, 3rd players reaction indicated they weren't happy but I couldn't tell from my spot (the one with Tom looked a more obvious dive). The one we had awarded was a shocker if unpunished by Slabs. No red card for Tom was right, skip for 3rd having given it should have gone? Downer's one they are on about he blocked him off but no swinging arm imo - no idea why he did it mind was going straight through to Tom no problem. Their 4 could have gone but it was late in the game and at that point probably wouldn't have had much of a impact. Don't agree with opinions I have heard of them dominating the 2nd half. Whilst we never had the same control we still should have taken a couple more with some of the situations we created. Good crowd and nice to hear a decent atmosphere. Obviously we did something to offend in 1930s or whenever the last game was as they hated us before the start of the game!! I give them credit for forcing their way back into the game and they caused more problems defensively than anyone else this season. Not sure it was the right place for 2 centre backs, an attack minded full back and a winger as our back 4 but Dos goes with unchanged when they are doing the job. Look forward to the replay, I am quietly confident and if we defend well we saw enough to suggest we can score a few at the other end. I think they are a decent side though and this isn't the case of an underdog missing their chance, they are a conference south side in all but name. We'll need to be at it.

For twenty minutes of the first half we looked well in control of this match, scoring three times and providing strong evidence of the gap in quality between Steps 2 and 3 of the pyramid. But we had started slowly, conceding an early goal, and, but for a bad miss by Mackey, might well have been 2-0 down within the first quarter. The two Hemel penalties either side of half time gave them a lifeline and confidence boost, and for most of the second half it was pretty much even stevens. There were some debatable refereeing decisions but I'd suggest that they balanced out over the 90 minutes. What I hope all can agree on is that this was a pulsating cup tie and both sides can take credit for that. If the replay is half as exciting it should still be worth watching.

I'm sorry to hear that some Hemel fans have taken offence to stuff posted on here (although the Syria comment was a bit off IMO). But some of the fans did behave badly, unless you're OK with sexist abuse, racist jokes (from a steward!) and general hostility towards visitors. I felt quite intimidated at times, which I rarely if ever have felt at football before. But I have to stress that this does not apply to ALL Hemel fans and I wouldn't dream of tarring all with the same brush. As I said yesterday, this sort of thing tends to come from a vocal but small minority and the perpetrators tend not to travel, so I look forward to welcoming HH to Gander Green Lane on Tuesday.
Also, that was the most entertaining FA Cup game I've seen for a while. Would have been thoroughly enjoyable throughout for a neutral!

I suggest he visits Eastleigh who are top of our league before he has a pop at what, for me, was a very nice ground indeed and will be a welcome addition to Skrill South should they gain promotion. Like others I was less than impressed with SOME of the home support, but also dissapointed with some of our own fans, especially the abuse directed at their 5 at one point when he and his keeper were showing concern for child who received a ball in the face.
