One of the things I don't like about having the draw for the next round before the replay is the fact it can really get your hopes up. Imagine if we got given Coventry at home in the draw today but lost the replay on Tuesday.

Imagine if we got given Coventry at home in the draw today but lost the replay on Tuesday. The one good thing about Dos as manager is that if he notices any players thinking ahead, they will not be wearing the shirt come Tuesday night. I have a meeting in Sutton at 6:45.. Gonna try and leg it over. Hopefully I'm not late..

Kidderminster is 40 minutes away from me, so no guessing who I want in the next round

That's a tough game for whichever team goes through. Both sides doing well, esp Kiddy who are 2nd in Conf Prem. Some supporters will remember us taking them back to GGL for a replay which we won the penalty shootout. And which led us to play Hereford. We do have a habit of getting the same sides in the FA Cup proper don't we?
Lets see on Weds if we are playing one, or not playing at all that day. Our scheduled opponents in the league that day are Boreham Wood, who of course are still in the cup.

Well, if we get knocked out let's hope we can re-arrange a match.
Unless Bradford pull off a shock, that's not a great draw in terms of revenue and possible progress. Still, hope we get the chance to play either though.

Evening all from a Hemel fan. I really enjoyed the game yesterday, I thought it was really entertaining and a shame that it turned a bit heated towards the end. I wasn't aware of the alcohol rule and can only imagine it was an oversight by the club because they would never jeopardise being penalised the by the FA just to sell a few drinks. I thought you bought great vocal support with you which really enhanced the atmosphere of the game. Our supporters who sing are made up of mostly school age boys who are very passionate about the team. They are almost a 12th man for us. It's easy for us to get carried away with the atmosphere and I consider it to be entertaining and harmless banter. That said, I fully understand opposing fans taking exception to chants about your town being s**t. These youngsters I think eally are harmless and completely non violent but I can understand opposing fans feeling intimidated. Also someone remarked about being called a w****r to his face during the half time change over. If true this is obviously unacceptable behaviour and 99% of Hemel fans don't want to be associated with that sort of behaviour.
As for the game, I think our early goal helped make it the great tie that it was. The 1st half Sutton gave us a lesson in passing & flowing football and the difference in quality was evident. Your no8 proved to be a handful for our team imo. If it wasn't for the penalty then 1-3 at HT would be a fair reflection of the game. 2nd half Sutton seemed to lose composure a bit and our teams attitude of never giving up, paid off. I genuinely didn't have a good enough view of any of the penalty decisions but think our 4 is lucky to not have been sent off but then again the ref let several players off cautions on both sides. I personally loved seeing how our very good side fared against a superior team
Like I said before I thoroughly enjoyed the game and am really looking forward to visiting Sutton tomorrow. Please don't think of us as bad supporters because we are not. The vocal youngster are coming so please try and remember they are juveniles just having a good time with no malice intended.
I don't see us getting a result to be honest but I know it's not an impossible task for us. I look forward to your hospitality and friendly banter on Tuesday.

Agreed hhtfc. Lets hope for as good a game in the replay although I am sure you understand that I want us to win it.
The young lads singing shouldnt be be a problem (it is half term after all!) but the drum is not allowed.
See you Tuesday
