I read somewhere that flat standing areas do not count towards capacity? If true we can only count the seats (obviously!) the three covered terraces, The shoebox, the uncovered terracing on either flank at the GGL end, and the terracing between the LED screen and main stand. So, (again if that's true) what does that give us? Maybe this will help? www.safetyatsportsgrounds.org.uk/sites/default/files/publications/green-guide.pdfYou may need a maths degree to understand it

I believe that Paul Doswell said, in the BBC Radio London interview from Saturday that 'if we're in a position to get promoted then we would take it'. So, either pitch change or groundshare, I guess? Anyone who knows Dos will know he would not turn down the opportunity to take our club into league football for the 1st time in its history. If the pitch needs to come up it will, I can see Dos with a shovel doing it himself, but only if the argument for 3G is lost. I don't see a ground share working either, we will play at GGL, sorry the Knight Community Stadium.

So, (again if that's true) what does that give us? Do you mean the capacity is counted differently in the league? Doesn't sound right to me. The capacity we have is already based on these areas . . . Ah! I didn't know that.

I think more likely one of the hybrid types that are already in use in the EPL or EFL, so the EFL could not turn it down. It is difficult to say which ground has the pitch which is most modified, because the info I have seen published is from rival manufacturers/installers who may not be truthful about rivals' products. The company who installed MCFC pitch say the Britannia Stadium is the most artificial.

I think its called 'Desso Grass Master' arsenal use it, and Boreham wood had one installed at the start of the season, part plastic part grass, but quite expensive?

A very clear and concise report with a most enlightning statement from Bruce once again nailing the positives of 3G,especially for the 'ostriches' to take notice.

Nobody seems to have mentioned groundsharing with Carshalton.

I take it this is a joke but you do know they also have an artificial pitch, right?

I see that we are back in the situation of all three 3G clubs being back in the play off positions - still a long way to go though!
