That's a fabric-ated rumour. I believe they were pur-loined rascals not fakirs at all.

Well it's looking less likely at the moment.
I agree we have been attracting some less desirables and IF we get into the league we will inevitably attract more.

The 3G pitch, and not just at GGL, will save park and local league football. Whether it should be accepted in the Football League is a moot point. I would prefer the real stuff, but can see exactly why it would be good for smaller clubs. It's difficult to come down one way or the other.

Looks like Manchester United are making excuses before playing on AZ Alkmaar's artificial pitch.

Can I be controversial and say I think the grass is better particularly as the pitch is in such excellent condition.
Are we starting to take the superb playing surface for granted?

A change in EFL policy now could potentsilly benefit Bromley, so I guess we all oppose 3G pitches now

I'd guess most of us are still very much in their favour, since they benefit a lot of people, small clubs and communities.

Like any such change, whether it happens or not will be based on cost analysis and whether going back to 3G would benefit the club.
A 3G also has a shelf life.
The current grass pitch supports first, women's first and some academy football.
The surface is excellent, arguably better than the 3G and while, maintenance costs are probably higher for grass, I would keep it.
