With the predicted weather, highly unlikely that the game will be off....

I think we need to forget about our bad record at York Road. We've never played there at this level of football and although the pitch from what I hear isn't great there, I expect Dos has taken that into account as well as how our opponents play.
The odds are that Macclesfield will get 3 points against one of the worst sides in the league, so we have to get 3 points to put pressure on them. There is no reason why we can't.
7 games to go being 3 points behind is still very much game one. 6 games to go being 6 points behind makes it quite a tall order.

As a side note, our win against Chester on Saturday means we can finish no lower than 11th, meaning we've already guaranteed that we'll finish higher than last season

Means that we can finish no lower than 12th.

Don't you think just expectation that we'll bring 250 odd fans and once it gets to that sort of figure sensible?

Why would it concern you, I don’t ever remember us having any trouble with the Maidenhead fans at games I’ve been to u less there was trouble at Maidenhead vs Sutton games I haven’t been to...

The initial article about non-segregation looks to be from when they were in Conference South. Looking at the BT highlights they've segregated a few games - particularly those teams likely to bring a decent sized support

I know that only a minority of Maidenhead fans change ends so it may be quite cramped when we kick towards the terrace that says ‘Maidenhead UTD’ on it 👍

Like ourselves Maidenhead have seen a big increase in match day support in recent years. And there were apparently a few unsavoury incidents against Ebbsfleet last season

Means that we can finish no lower than 12th. There are 3 matches in the season where Bromley, Gateshead and Dagenham all play each other, so they can't all take 6 points. Gateshead can only afford to lose one match to get to 72 points. It's possible, given the combinations that you can get Bromley and Dagenham on 73, and Gateshead on 72, and that with them all getting the necessary wins, and us losing, that our goal difference will worsen sufficiently to finish in 12th behind all 3 of them.
I think I've worked it out correctly, but you are beginning to need to get some specific match results to make it "unlikely" if not yet mathematically certain.

It's unlikely we will finish lower than 7th to be perfectly frank.

A Maidenhead fan has posted on the Conference forum that there's a pitch inspection at York Road tomorrow morning. I've not seen any official confirmation of this.
