All the best to everyone travelling to Ireland for the game, hope you all have a great weekend. I’ve still got a couple of days in Sunny Tenerife, so will miss the game. Hope to go the Wealdstone game next week. Not the same, but a games a game!

Didn't add the reply again! Just to say I too hope you all have a great time.I had planned to be there but hadn't realised it clashed with a previous engagement.Rather ironic that this is an Irish music evening near Finsbury Park!

Having a great time here, going to be a very decent turnout at Dalymount, bumped into a few others already (not including the 18 or so amber heroes on the same flight out of Gatwick).
So delighted we’re in this competition, I accept others on here loathe the idea.

Me too and I can see why others might feel that way. I think it's brilliant as a one off thing but I wouldn't want to do it every season.
Some people might feel differently had we not been drawn away in both rounds. Luck of the draw though!

As forecast, it's tipping down in Dublin. But the rain won't dampen our spirits.

Results mostly went well in the league. We have now beaten the current top 3 (over 50% of their combined league defeats!). As of today National League clubs have played 16 games to the Premier League’s 8!
Sounded like we gave it a good go today and certainly had our chances, glaringly in the shoot out!

Brilliant day yesterday, apart from the result, really enjoyed Dublin and the match experience. What’s happening next season? I’m hoping for an invitation into the Norwegian Cup or direct entry into the group stages of the Europa League.

And to add, I want us to enter the copa libertadores. Hoping to draw Boca Juniors away. ————————- What a day. I was like a young boy again going to my first ever match which I did by the way in 1977 (Lou Macari & the Greenhoff brothers playing for MU). I’ll never forget yesterday as long as I live. And I for one will be gutted when the draw for the quarter finals takes place and November 17th comes around. Aswad’s penalty was over the line and we would still be there trying to win by sudden death penalty kicks.....

It was fun while it lasted. We saw Sutton play in places we would never have expected, flying the National League flag in Scotland and Ireland, and making some new friends along the way. Going out of a competition on penalties is always anti-climactic, but, with some long trips coming up in the league, an exit at this stage was perhaps a blessing in disguise.
Bohs may feel that they deserved the win on the basis of the ninety minutes of football, but Sutton can take pride in a gritty display in which they created enough to have snatched victory. We started with a 4-1-2-3 formation, Aswad keeping his place at CB, Wayne Brown playing as a holding midfielder, and Jonah and Tom B out wide and forming an attacking trident with Aaron Drinan (whom I assume has played at Dalymount Park before).
Bohs started the stronger, with plenty of pace, but were let down by their finishing. Our defence then dug in, some last-ditch interceptions preserving the clean sheet. And it was Sutton who came closest to scoring before half-time, Jonah's incisive drive from the left helping to set up Tom whose rasping shot was tipped over by the home keeper. As at Orient two weeks ago, the ref seemed much keener to flourish yellows cards at visiting players, and Dos was sent to the stands after protesting at the imbalance.
As the second half neared its end it was Sutton who were on top and the home side on the back foot. But the ball wouldn't break for us, and so it was penalties. Ross W saved two but then so did the Bohs keeper and we were into sudden death. Aswad's shot hit the bar and bounced down, the officials decided that the ball hadn't crossed the line, and we were out.
