I believe that Bromely's hearing with the FA was due to take place in w/b 31st Dec. So, there shouldn't have been any decision just yet.

We're back in when we've had official confirmation. Never ever before. Speculation or "knowing from a friend" helps no one

Trip to Spennymoor anyone ? The supporters club have arranged a coach. Has a friend of a friend given them the nod ? Joking aside we shall probably hear over twitter faster than official sources.

Talking to some Bromley folk at Phoenix Sports this afternoon, they think they haven’t got a leg to stand on and expect to be chucked out.

Why is there nothing on the official club web-site?

Why would there be? As it currently stands nothing has changed as yet for us and we are not the ones facing the FA charge, Bromley are so from an SUFC viewpoint what is there to report?
If the outcome of the charge affects Sutton in that we have to replay the match or take Bromley's place in the next round against Spennymoor then I'm sure it will be put on the official site.
If Bromley don't get found guilty then it will be as you were and we'd have reported on what? The fact another club are facing an FA Charge which Bromley have reported on anyway on their official site?

As I understand it the date originally reported for the hearing was 31st December. Later reports gave 'week commencing' 31st December, so we may have a few more days to wait yet.

At the risk of repeating myself, on this thread only two days ago.

I thought that the hearing was on 31st January, Not sure where you heard that, but it's extremely unlikely, since the 2nd Round is due to be played on the 12th January, and after that, the 3rd Round Ties are to be played on the weekend of the 2nd February, the FA wouldn't normally allow a backlog of fixtures ( the only exemptions seem to be when games are "postponed" due to bad weather )

Two posts from the Bromley forum: The paperwork for Junior's loan from Colchester didn't specify that he could play in the FA Trophy. Colchester have clarified the situation, in that he could play, in a back dated letter to the FA as part of this hearing. Whether this will be enough, remains to be seen.

It maybe enough to persuade the FA to order us to replay the match. Hopefully we won't have to play Sutton again..

This implies that the player in question isn't the one many thought it was before.
We're still not any closer to a resolution though
