Curious. I spotted a petition about an hour ago, under petition.parliament.uk/petitions/334366. This seems to be a different one to the one on change.org. At as right now, there are over 3,000 signatures on one and almost 9,000 on the other. Anyway, this is clearly turning into something that can't possibly be ignored. |

8,908 as I’ve just signed. It seems that there are 2 petitions going on the official government site, one is for national/local level and the other is for grassroots below National level so one has to make sure that they sign the right one.

Thanks to amberchoc and brisfitboy for the further info, I wasn't previously aware of the additional petition on the government's website so I've signed that one as well, which now has 9001 signatures and counting...
