Three points please, with our superior possession blessed with clear cut chances being created, and, crucially, taken. It would be relaxing to hit the 80 minute mark without those niggling collywobbles kicking in as we try and defend a one-goal lead. Not taking the opponents for granted, but this fixture in eminently winnable.
And I’ll be keenly listening to the pre-match music…
It still seems surreal playing such teams as this in a league match. I can remember Carlisle in the old First Division (that’s the Premiership in today’s money for you younger forum visitors).

We've still only played one team that hasn't been non-league for a period of their history since the War. That doesn't change until we play Northampton next week

Looking forward to tomorrow’s game, a winnable one for us I feel. I note from the preview that Sho-Silva and Barden are likely to miss out with knocks, but Isaac could be included in the matchday squad for the first time this season. One other line about the squad.. prodigy Kouassi has joined Hampton on loan - a good move for him.
Whenever I hear Carlisle I always think of goalkeeper Jimmy Glass smashing one in on the last day of the season a fair few seasons back that kept them up and sent Scarborough down I think.

No doubt a good proportion of their support tomorrow will be London-based, but Carlisle United generally have excellent away support considering the distances most of them will have to travel. Wouldn’t surprise me if the away section pretty well sold out.

If one FB post is believed they had sold 430.

If anyone fancies a sweet treat I'm giving away big slices of my home made bread pudding, which might even still be warm if you're quick! I'm just to the left of the GGL goal as you look at the pitch if anyone wants to come and find me. For anyone who does want to take any, I'd really appreciate if you could make a donation to my charity of the week which is Macmillan Cancer Support - you can donate however much or little you want here donation.macmillan.org.uk/

Good to see the distance growing between us and the bottom of the league. Though maybe it will not be the case of a relegation fight after all.

Perhaps not quite at our best first half and we did well to go in 2-0 up but tightened up 2nd half. Important saves by Dean again. And in the end their keeper kept it respectable (2 sensational saves). That and a final whistle that saved a near certain fifth. Doesn’t matter but odd only 4 minutes of injury time given at least 5 for the one injury break! Based on that we’ll do very well to hang on to Ajiboye, outstanding today and a deserved goal.

Amazing performance- this was the win that confirmed that we belong at this level. In fact keep playing like that and a play off place is not out of the question!

Really enjoyed that. As did my girlfriend, who'd not been before. Well done to the lads!
