It may well be that our excellent directors already have plans in place for all of this. I'm sure they have, so it's a bit pointless worrying about a doomsday scenario. Just enjoy every minute of being in the EFL and long may it last. Just one other point. You say "Each season that a Scunthorpe or Rochdale is relegated and replaced by a Stockport or Wrexham, the competition is going to become that much more difficult the next season." Don't forget that Stockport and Wrexham were themselves relegated from the EFL not so long ago. In terms of the relative strengths of the clubs, it really doesn't matter who goes down and who comes up - those coming up will be strong, at least for the moment, and those going down will be relatively weak. In a year's time you may well be worrying about so-called big clubs like Scunthorpe or Rochdale coming back up.

I would add that it was renamed the Borough Sports Ground in the mid 1930s after Sutton was granted its Borough Charter (not being a social history expert I haven't a clue what that meant) which was celebrated by a host of events including a large gathering involving a lot of flag bearers at the ground.
Sutton played a QPR side to mark the occasion and players were presented to the Mayor.
Thomas Wall may even performed a ceremonial kick off, although that may have been for another occasion.
As I say, all of my dwindling grey cells without checking. Can't be arsed.

That won't be the case for Matt, unless of course Matt gets the opportunity to manage Spurs. I think Matt has more sense than to take on that job

Stockport 1-0 at half time this evening. Is that better for our playoff chances than a draw?

Currently 1-1. A draw would be perfect

Currently 1-1. A draw would be perfect FT 1-1. Not convinced that this helps us more than Salford losing. We've got our work cut out to overhaul either of these.

Given we play Stockport on Friday it’s actually far easier to overhaul them than Salford. I’d say a draw suits us. Of course still means we have to win today and Friday to get us in the hunt!

Tongue-in-cheek question: How do you win a football match without scoring a goal?!! Oh I know, an abandonment at nil-nil where the F.A. then award us the 3 points for whatever reason!

Looks now like two to go down from bottom five in EFL League Two. Rochdale still favourites despite winning their last two matches. Hartlepool's loan signing of Dan Kemp on the last day of the transfer window has been inspired - as he has scored nine goals so far in just over two months.

The Orient match next week could be a bumper crowd again (even close to sell out). They could potentially seal promotion on our ground.

They can Andy - if they win and the Stockport, Carlisle and Bradford results all go right for them.
