So Forest Green, Accrington Stanley, Morecambe and MK Dons join us in EFL 2 next season. The four relegated sides from last season (Gillingham, Crewe, Doncaster and AFC Wimbledon) are all currently in the bottom half this season - and I wouldn't be surprised to see similar seasons for these four relegated clubs next season. Fully anticipate Wrexham to challenge for automatic promotion. If Notts County go up could be in contention for play offs. If Bromley or Chesterfield make it they could both struggle.

If anything, Forest Green, Accrington and Morecambe are all smaller clubs than the four who went down the previous season and, though I'd need to double check, have attendances lower than or little above ours.

We ended up with an average attendance of 3,265 this season (20th in L2), but I believe our highest average ever (up around 200 on last season). That would have put us in 22nd in L1, with as you quite correctly said, FGR and Accrington below us. Morecambe had an average of around 4,500, still below the 4 teams that came down at a comparative level.

Yes, our highest ever average in recent seasons at least: european-football-statistics.co.uk/attnclub/league/sutu.htmHere's a link for anyone wishing to check other current and former PL/EFL clubs' attendances over time: www.european-football-statistics.co.uk/england.htm

More than likely. But in all honesty there's no rush to post it. I'm rather surprised Pierre has been offered a contract. From what I heard he didn't go down too well with the wombles. Perhaps a proper pre season and he'll come good for them.

Morecambe, relegated to EFL2 next season, have released 14 players (every player who will not still be under contract for next season) amidst concerns about the financial future of the club.

Including one Daniel Crowley who I wonder if we’d have a look at.. an exceptional talent in his teenage years he gave us the runaround a few years back in a friendly for Arsenal.

Well David's obviously not needed at Peterborough.
