4-3 FT. Bloody work, look what you've made me miss. I bet there are manic celebrations and the Wealdstone fans won't be too happy I bet. They must hate GGL.
To top it off Ks drew 1-1.

Dyer put them two up before Forbes pulled one back with a header just before half time.A wonderful strike by Spendlove made it 3 - 1 and then an own goal for 3 - 2.
At that point i was so cold that i went home...........................

Ah so you are to blame Billy After we went 3-1 down I was already composing an online rant about our performance today, which after a sprightly first 15 mins was poor. To be fair, I think Wealdstone have been in my opinion the best team i've seen at GGL this season. They play good football, know how to defend (i'll come to that in a bit) and can score great goals. In addition to that they also are the least dirty side I've seen too - they don't resort to fouling because they have a team good enough to not have to. They exposed our weaknesses, and their first goal was great - the other two showed our defence were not on the ball for large periods today and, especially with the 3rd goal, were rather 'welcoming' We got one back just before half time with a great looping header from Forbes - 7 goals in 10 games now!). Our 2nd was a very weak own goal by them, and to be honest it looked like it was going to stay that way. Then the last 2 minutes happened. Credit to Sutton to not giving up and it was pleasantly ironic that the two goals came from our 2 centre backs who were given a runaround from our good opponents. After the final whistle, there was a deja vu moment from 2 years ago when we robbed Wealdstone at the end, and to be honest we did again this year. Credit to their supporters before then, but as two years ago there was the usual squaring up with the players, with various tirades of abuse being thrown (and the odd object) at our players warming down. Whilst I don't give a thumbs up to that, I can understand their frustration. They should have won, but at the end of the day their defence let them down in the last 5 mins. This could prove a HUGE victory at the end of the season, and goes some way to us cancelling out being robbed at Kingsmeadow in October.
