Start this one early as its a real biggy!
Ebbsfleet will have to come out and attack us & do what no other team has done to us for the last 20 odd matches.
Hopefully a cracking match in a good atmosphere with a large crowd.

With the threat of a 3 point deduction hanging over us,this is the game we need to win

Barring any points deduction, Maidstone need to win all of their remaining games and we'd have to get nothing from the last 3 to have them overtake us - if we get one point we'll be level on points but it will be nigh on impossible for them to turn around a +33 goal difference in 3 games. So worst case scenario for us is likely to be 2nd. That's not a bad place to be, but I do think that Saturday will decide the title above everything else. Ebbsfleet need a win more than we do (even with a points deduction) because even with, say 3 points, the title is still very much in our own hands - remember Ebbsfleet only have one game (Home to Eastbourne) after Saturday.

Also, when the fixtures came out, we probably all identified this game as pivotal in the season. I'm not sure how many of us would have predicted how much so (I know I certainly didn't).

Its interesting that the bookies cannot split us with both sides being 16/11 for the win. However we are 2/7 to win the league with Ebbsfleet at 5/2.
Bookies are rarely wrong, and whats even more interesting is that our odds have tightened while Fleet's has drifted considerable since first news of the FA charge???

Is my stewards hi-viz jacket yellow enough?
Looking forward to a great afternoon and a good match between the two best sides in the league.

We have eight coaches booked and a big drive to try and get ten so there will be plenty of away supporters. I should think we will have close to a thousand. - better get some more barrels in!
I don't know what the result of the hearing will be but come Saturday may the best team win.
Really looking forward to it. The play-offs are a lottery but if there is any justice we should both go up.

Yeah we all know that the team that finishes 5th will win the the playoffs, like Dover did the other year, when the other teams are 20 points in front of them. A cup final, anyone can win on the day!!

The week that I thought may never end is about to. Bring it on. Keep our cool, play our game, keep 11 on the field and attack, let's give it a big go! Time for our support to get right together at home.
