Fantastic result all round for Sutton just one sour point being a Sutton follower and that was the reaction of the penalty taker after converting! Having my family from Kent with us to share the occasion, he promptly ran to the opposition fans and made an unwarranted hand gesture to them. Now while I understand his delight in scoring my wife and children with several others found it disgusting. I for one was embarrassed as SUFC supporter that he felt the need to make such a obnoxious gesture even on the heat of battle. Luckily the sign was captured on iPhone by the ebbsfleet supporters and I am sure will be passed to the relevant people for viewing. He did not do credit to the day or the match and in my eyes bought our club into a bad light. If any of the management wishes to see the incident and take retrospective action before the FA do please contact me Spoiled a wonderful and deserved day by his actions That is maybe but it didn't warrant the bottle thrown at the players by 1 of the ebbsfleet fans. Thought that was just as bad. Think it hit one of them aswell, not sure who though. I hope that was caught on the camera or the footage filmed by either sufctv or vanarama and handed to the relevant people as well. My brother-in-law has a photo of our culprit. He believes he threw a bottle first & then a smaller but possibly metal object which the ref picked up. Absolutely no excuse for this action & his wife & I have both urged him to send the photo to our club who will not ignore it. Our fans were upset at the penalty being given - I was walking back having just visited Ye Olde Gentes & had a great view from the side. Bonner & De Boegarte converged on your guy to close him off. I saw no contact & heard no appeal as your player lost his footing & went down & was in no way woried about a penalty when I saw the ref pointing to the spot. At the time we felt it turned the match - in hindisght, given how we never looked like breaking you down after the first 20 minutes, I think you'd have gone on to win whatever. We were all hugely annoyed by Gomis's reaction after converting the penalty & that included my wife who is a very calm observer & two neutrals who were part of our group. No, he was not gesturing towards any Sutton supporters - it was directed full on behind the goal which was a sea of red. And I do not believe his sending off at SBR had anything to do with our supporters. His gestures & facial expression were inflamatory, unprofesssional & unwarranted. The ref's failure to book or even talk to him was a disgrace. Having said all this, you were the better team. I am sorry we did not give a better account of ourselves, but you are only as good as the opposition allow you to be. Best of luck next season when hopefully our paths will cross again.

The title isn't ours just yet, we still have a bit of work to do so let's not get too carried away. However if we do go on to win it we'll have more than deserved it as we have been the best team by far this season. Every team we have played have said we are the best team they have seen this season. If I was an Ebbsfleet fan I would be livid, I certainly wouldn't have applauded their players yesterday if I was them. All that money spent and a lead of 14 points and they have gone and cocked it up big time. They thought they had won the league months ago and it has blown up in their face spectacularly. I'd be furious if I was a Fleet fan. I didn't think they were any better than Maidstone tbh and I certainly wouldn't risk putting any money on them coming through the play offs. While I agree with some of your points, yes I am unhappy at not winning the league, I would also point out that although you have more or less won the title, on todays showing I wouldn't put you up there with the best teams I have seen this season, and I have only missed 4 games home and away. But you have got the job done. We Ebbsfleet fans are obviously not as fickle as your fans, and applaud our team no matter what the outcome of a game is. Of course you throw the money tag at us, as do they all, claiming that they are on thousands of pounds a week, all hearsay. So no doubt you will tell me that Nicky Bailey and co play for peanuts. Please try another angle. Your team are big and strong, and I think will cope in the Conference We all also know the play offs are a lottery. Yes I agree Maidstone were a better side than you.

Haha of course we are not up there as one of the best teams sweetie. The table and record breaking unbeaten run clearly lie...
I hope your players enjoy Las Vagas. Oh...!

I think it's a little unfair to say that Gravesend have thrown it away and not giving our players enough credit on going on an amazing 24 game unbeaten run. That's the reason why we are top and have the best team in the league. Our midfield is of the highest quality in the whole of non league football including Cheltenham. Eastmond, Bailey and Gomis are a sensational trio and we have Burge to come back next season.
Fleet fans will point to the unnecessary points they have dropped in games this season but so have we and really we should have had least 92 points by now.

The form table speaks for itself, record breaking unbeaten run in the southern region of the conference. But sure, we are not one of the best teams as you say. I actually believe we are THE best team in this current league. Fickle? Us? Just last week I heard from a Chelmsford fan that most of your fans had already departed the stadium after your 3-1 win. What does that say about a team challenging for the league title? Regarding the money tag, yes while some of our players may be on higher wages, we didn't actually pay a high fee to acquire their services. Unlike Ebbsfleet's current squad, most of whom are bought with high fees, Ashmore being a recent example. Barring the first 15 minutes, I didn't actually think Ebbsfleet caused us too many problems, certainly created less than Maidstone did. At least their fans were gracious in their defeat, unlike a lot of Ebbsfleet fans I have seen on social media and forums.

I don't think it is worth engaging, he's inhabiting a different world. I'd say actually the majority of the Ebbsfleet fans are fine, I wouldn't be blinded by the opinions of a couple of clowns. Let them think whatever and we can just enjoy what has happened to date. Another big game to turn our attention to next week against an inform Chelmsford. I certainly don't want it to go to the last week (especially as I may not be able to get to Oxford).

I hope that was caught on the camera or the footage filmed by either sufctv or vanarama and handed to the relevant people as well. Nothing picked up by the BT Sport camera, zoomed in on the players celebrating, just see the bottle landing on the pitch. Got a soft spot for Sutton so hope you manage to come up to the National league!

You obviously were not standing near the tunnel at the end when your manager walk through a torrent of abuse from his own fans. Whatever money we spend it is not with the endless backing of a Arab State. We were actually the better side at Stone Bridge Road earlier in the season where the goal came from a clear foul on Eastmond, I note no mention of that by Fleet. Our form away from our 3G pitch has actually been better than on it, and league stats do no lie, not only are we the best team in the league this season but now hold a record 24 match unbeaten run. When you do the maths, it turns out that Maidstone are the best side in the league, if you use a Amstrad computer that is

You didn't even read my post correctly, I said I didn't think you were one of the best sides that I have seen this season, and your not, regardless of where you have finished You are clearly under the influence, or a little lacking in certain areas. Also its called Las Vegas. Oh......... You may be of the sweetie camp club, but I certainly am not.
